R15 v3 is a brilliant bike even middle aged and people with more upper body weight can enjoy it very well. If you want to avoid numbness and pain in your wrists while touring on a highway just try to take break of 10-15 minutes every 50 to 60 kms
Well! as an owner I've checked all the points carefully but i dont think after 100 km anybody will feel good!..Because me after 60-70 km felt numbness! in my palm & palm burn!, Tank issue is there yes!..Yamaha should have given us A.B.S because there has been many times i've encountered sudden dogs on the highways!, Cost cutting has been done by the yamaha,, but Rest all is perfect! & Yes! you've honestly covered all the points!😉
You are on point about the palm burn. In fact my baby and ring fingers goes numb for 3-4 days if I cover 180-200 days in two days.. Vibrations increases once the engine oil starts running out. Replacing it with new engine oil reduces the vibrations very much. the last and the most annoying issue is THE HEADLIGHT. Its like u have put on two phone flashlights in the front of a vehicle and expecting it to illuminate the road in front of you travelling on the highways. I think even the flashlights would do a better job than those headlights. Does anyone know how to fix the focus of the light?? That would be a great help.

I agree! with all you've said.For the headlamps they're only 35 watt LED's ,So nothing much can be done, but there's a key below these headlights from where you can adjust your beam focus fully up!, This adjustment i' ve done! yup! headlamps are crap!.They should've given us 55w low beam & 65w high beam like the one in RC 200 & RS 200..Well! Go to the mechanic and ask whether another headlight can be adjusted there or not.That's the only thing which anyone could suggest!😉
They have improved it. I just bought mine and the prominent issues have been sorted: 1. The tank shell design has been changed with better clasps so it doesn't come apart any more 2. The messy welds have now been replaced with neat straight welds 3. The ugly welds you could see below the instrument cluster have been hidden by a small rubber cover

Yamaha didn't do it well with the build quality of this bike. I bought this bike 1 month back, and it has started rusting on chain and discs. After complaing to yamaha india,no solution has came out.
Sk, has the bike came with this problem?? High chance it could be because of rain and dirt. It's common if the bike is not cleaned after rain ride. If the disc has reached to a level that, it's way too bad, then think of bashing on them. Otherwise everything is fixable.
Guys whatever it is, nothing happens to a brand new piece in a month or I'll say at least an year. They're talking 1.6lacs for a bike of 150cc. Build quality sucks, plastics that too cheap all around. Engine is definitely the high light along with R6 inspired look with bad led throw lights. I was to buy this bike. But I'll pass now. Yahama has taken people for granted now.

Technically you can, but anything beyond 150 section you'll have to change the entire swingarm plus the power drop. And trust me you don't want to get rid of those curved aluminium swingarms round the corner. If you're a enthusiast.
Bro few days ago I booked v3...yesterday show room guy informed to me today vehicle is ready anytime you can take the bike...then i came to show room..nd saw the bike..the guy insert the key then I saw the no.42 on instrument console...suddenly I freaked... i asked are you riding the bike..he nodded.what happened..it's new bike ...i didn’t expect this..i thinked this is km measure...i said to him..I don't want this bike..its problem ..i don't like this I said..then guy send the bike to mechanic..he quickly attend the problem and solved...but I didn't compromised...now i am confused this ok or not...I eagerly waiting for new bike..please tell me..
Bro, I'm planning to buy one and got confused between this one and rr310. It'll be of very minimal usage, roughly approx. 300 km a month (at max). Will it be worth it(quality+stability+ownership cost) to spend that little extra money and go for rr310 when compared to r15 v3 abs?

Im riding it since 12 september. All is going well. Heating issues are there in bumper to bumper traffic. Power delivery is excellent. As i was riding a scooty before so im not having full control over it so took it to 88kmph till now and its so smooth. Excellent 150cc bike ever.
