I'm not usually one for races but there's something magical about a trophy truck leaping across the sand kicking up dust that gives me pure joy.

Every time I watch something on trophy trucks as they race I can't stop thinking of what engineering marvels they are such works of art.....

Fearless, crazy, totally insane.....and thats just the crowd.
I"m a mud bogger kind of guy but watching those trucks soak up those bumps at high speed is hypnotic! 😳👍
and the landing.. its smoooth no bounce at all!
Rocky mountain crawler guy and ATV/UTV desert guy and those suspensions are just insane! Its 60k to turn my truck into nothing that can do that (250k -1 mil is the real price on some of these beaut's.[Edit: just for the suspension systems]

Skimming whoops flat out is always my favorite thing to watch. Seeing the suspension working while the driver is feathering the peddle and trying to stay on top of them.Idk it's just something about man and machine and when it's done correctly...Magical

I will never forget going down there in the olden days with my older brother and his cohorts .
They tried to use me as a scout for the car. One thing they failed to realize was brand new 490 with an extra tank behind the front plate .
I’m sure the course is much rougher now.

In Orange County at the Pomona short course races Robby went up into the bleachers to chat with his wife or something but I accidentally scared the shit out of him ! I saw him walking up the stairs right next to me and I stood up quickly and kinda excited maybe a little too loud I yelled “Robby Fucking Gordon!” Ah man the look on his face.
Robby Gordon is amazing. He's been in so many forms of motorsports.

Pretty sure the hp is capped to either 750 or 850
@@The-fs5wn In the lower spec trucks, 750-900 is a good middle ground. In Unlimited, 1000-1500 depending on supplier is the norm. There were a few making 1200+ at the wheel this year at the Mint.
I fell asleep watching hoonigans and woke up to this almost at the end. Laying there trying to figure out where the trophy trucks were. Lol
