Well, that's why the divergence meter changed. It took me 6 years before I realised the Kurisu intro is written plainly in the divergence meter in the intro. All because of you.
It's such an interesting way of doing the op's but it's so perfectly exemplary of steins; gate.
a couple things i find funny i didnt notice till my 2nd watch through is with the time machine all the problems they ran into originally were resolved with this version, like okabes memories through to this point affected this version of the time machine abilities. like mayuri comment about its a shame the machine didnt have 2 seats so someone could go with her, the comment about how impractical a time machine that cant go forward is, and the very limited energy that made it so it barely had the energy to make two jumps originally

Those who haven't seen steins gate
Those who thing steins gate is one of the best stories ever
actually there's 3 types of people, the third one being those who played the visual novel which is WAY more impactful emotionally with a lot more dialogue packed in, and the voices acting is much better as well.
@@matics28 I have played the VN. And include it in this statement. Whether it’s the VN or the anime, it’s still a perfect story.
@@matics28 actually there are 4 type of people, the last type who did some time of research in the series and found mangas of the characters backstory which makes steins gate to be even better, filling it’s only weak spot of character depth. (I suggest the Mister Braun and Christina’s father one they are very very good)

The ending has so much more meaning after seeing the struggles in Steins Gate 0 … seeing the broken man reborn as the mad scientist was such an incredible emotional payoff …

If you think about it, there might be a reason the intro changed. The first time we see it is around 10 minutes into the first episode, which is unusual, but it’s also after Okabe first switches to the first beta world line. In this episode he stayed in the alpha world line, so in a way, the intro we know is the beta intro and the intro this episode is the actual intro. It’s like watching opening 2 before opening 1 in a show without realizing it. I’m not saying this is definitely the case, but if this is indeed the answer, that would be amazing and the person who thought of that should get a medal

personally i woulda ended 25 slightly different, i woulda had the convo at the end leaning tword kurisus frustration at not knowing whats real and whats not and instead of ending it on an implication have okabe ask her if shes sure she wants to remember then when she confirms she does no matter what happens he kisses her like they did before and while kissing her all her memories start flooding back.
that way it doesnt end with a weak implication, their relationship is confirmed and essentially right back to where it left off, and most importantly okabe wouldnt be the only one who remembers everything anymore. probably my only 'real' complaint with the series is that i reeeally wanted kurisu to develop reading steiner as well by the end so okabe would have the perfect partner for him, instead the best we got even by the end of the movie is weak ass deja vu, deja vu would be fine if not for the fact its so minimal and its just not the same as reading steiner and i feel like mayuri and kurisu were prime candidates to develop it, especially kurisu cause of her relationship with okabe
