It’s weird because Penelope isn’t entitled to Colin’s affection and it’s Penelope’s fault she’s putting all her hopes and dreams into Colin who has made it clear he doesn’t see her the same way but I still feel like Colin’s taking advantage of her affection for him. Not on purpose but still.
Okay. In S3, Penelope finally stops putting Colin on a pedestal. She finally realizes that wants to find someone even if she doesn't love him like she does Colin. I don't think Colin has had a chance to explore his feelings about Penelope. Colin cares about Penelope but he sees her as Eloise's friend. I think he takes advantage in the sense that he assumes that Penelope will always be there for him. I know that many people hate this storyline but Colin has to see Penelope in a new light. He can't do that if she always available.
