- Despite the fact that the kids and i struggled terribly this past weekend, we made the best of it. I did however set a NEW PERSONAL BEST in the Malibu DESPITE a lot worse Density Altitude and moist air.
NEVER GIVE UP! But know your limitations!
How cool is it to be such a positive role model and someone that kid looks up to? It had to mean more to him than you ever will know, that you let him get behind the wheel of the Malibu and just took the time to hang out and talk. Even cooler it’s all featured on the channel, so he can proudly show it to all of his friends and family and be able to relive the memory of that day for years to come! I give you huge props for taking the time to do stuff like this, which could totally play a huge impact on this kids future or an important crossroad that could affect the rest of his life. 👏👍
Yes. A friend let me drive his 67 Camaro when it was new. I was 13. I never forgot that. Unfortunately, he came back in a box from Nam 6 months later. R.I.P. , Keith! I have never forgotten you! You made a lifetime impression. ❤️
It’s moments like these spent with Michael that make it all worth it. My weekend wasn’t going well, and there was really no reason to take my car to Dig Or Die.
There was, I just wasn’t aware of it yet.
No better way to get kids to focus and keep them out of trouble than hotrods!!

I like to see a UA-camr that gets a lot of freebies from manufacturers to help them with their fun hobbies, Unlike myself and others that have been riding the struggle bus from day one. Man, that brought back some good Memories of a buddy of mine dad . He took me down to Carlsbad dragstrip in San Diego, We drove From LA area to San Diego in his 50 Oldmobile, Raced it and drove back home. I've been stuck racing ever since 😂. You'll be in Mike's heart forever.

I've been with your channel from the literal start, and use to constantly comment...but then had stopped cause it annoyed me the shit talking about LS. Everyone deserves their own opinion..I find it odd tho that we seem to forget that they are both small block Chevy platforms...different, yet still brothers. I sure hope the BBC runs great for Billy....as I really admire that young man...and his younger brother.

The grestest gift we as adults can give is to mentor a young man or woman. I have done the same with my truck, let a kid drive it and I did not even care if he acidentally broke it. He didn't but I think I enjoyed the moment more than the kid did. Sadly though i don't know near as much as you guys do. So sometimes i wish I was the 15yo boy with a mentor like that.
Thank you for helping him. I was lucky enough to have that roll model and it's something I think about 25 years later and appreciate now that I am teaching my boys.

Running the big block on Bob's dyno Sooo reminded me of working at Andy Mannarino's shop when they'd dyno an engine, it was about the same level of engine noises even with the dyno door closed but if you were out behind the shop it was really quiet! One hell of an exhaust system he had. In fact directly behind the shop in Detroit was a subdivision and I heard Andy say they'd Never had a complaint! But I do miss being around that now that I've been retired 7 years now. Love your videos guys!
