- There were loads of renovation works going on while we stayed at the Barceló Fuerteventura Mar last year, so we decided to return and check out the new Royal Level Adults Only section that we saw being built.
We spent a lovely week in Suite 5116 and highly recommend it.
The sun was constant and glorious and, oddly, there was very little of the usual Fuerteventura breeze to give you some relief from it.
The town was also a LOT busier than it was the last time we were here, which was lovely to see, but if you find yourself in CDF and there's masses of people in town then make sure to make reservations at any restaurants you really want to eat at - plenty of places were turning people away simply because they had no tables available for the rest of the night.

Just back from a 12 day holiday there . Lovely spot, weather was fantastic. Wouldn't fancy it in high season was hard enough getting seats in restaurants cant imagine how difficult it would be July/ August!
We definitely needed to plan ahead if we knew there was somewhere we definitely wanted to eat. There's still a few places we didn't get into , but that just gives us another excuse to go back again to try them!

Stayed there in the Royal Level Adults as you did in October, we expected the food in the Restaurant to be a lot better. Apart from the food the rest was excellent.
It certainly wasn't the biggest buffet I've ever seen so choice was fairly limited. If you didn't like what was on offer then there wasn't much you could do about it apart from fill up with bread and cheese. We ended up eating out most nights.

I booked directly through the Barcelo website. We're loyalty members, so we get discounts by going that way rather than through a travel operator.
Too many Brits there now, its turning into Blackpool .
