Great post, very informative. I visited Fuerteventura last year twice. (Stayed nearby) and found this hotel so booked a week in a month’s time. Really looking forward to it. I’ll let you know how I get on. (I recommend the bike shop up the road, I had a great day with Cool Running’s).

@@northernernonthemove lunch and dinner, you have to wait for a waiter to come and take your order for drinks. There is no option to do yourself. Sometimes this can take a while if they are busy and we find ourselves flagging them down. The evening is worse and the queues for the bar sometimes goes all the way down to reception.
@@calumsaunders3647 wow that’s different from when we where there at Easter, evening meal time they had a self service station and not to bad of a queue for drinks on a night 5 minutes maybe, thank you for the update hope it improves 👍 Hope we don’t have the same problem at the Barcelo Playa Blanca flying out today but I will be doing a full review of that hotel to. Hi John I would pick this Hotel over the Elba Sara just because it holds a lot of memories for me, my daughter who is now 26 never spent a Christmas in the UK till she was 10 years old, as due to my work commitments Christmas / New year was the only time I was able to go on holiday and the Barcelo was one of our go to places. This video is the first time I have returned for 10 years 👍

We are due to visit the resort in the first week in June of this year ,and will be staying in the hotel {Barcello} and your efforts have reassured us about both the resort and the hotel. You seem to stay in all the hotels I want to go to!! We have booked the Elba Sara but was thinking Barcelo Fuerteventura or Lanzarote active for our next holiday, which did you prefer? Really great videos thanks for all the information.
Hi Leigh really appreciate your comment 👍 Elba Sara is really great it’s just had the facelift they were telling us they were going to do when we stayed. I am going to do a updated review on that as we took a look at it when we were in the Barcelo watch out for that one👍 as to which one we prefer that is really a hard one to answer as they are all great hotels from a couples holiday point of view, however the Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar has to rate very high for the children activities / family holidays they kept the children entertained non stop and just to throw you a curve ball our next planned trip away in September of this year so you might want to hold off booking your next holiday just yet is going to be at the brand new Barcelo Playa Blanca for 7 nights all inclusive and we are super excited about that on 👍
Aw that’s great will keep an eye out for that video. We’ve got two boys so family friendly would be great. We will try to take a walk and a look at the barcelo when we are staying at the Elba. Oh wow how exciting the new one in Lanzarote looks stunning!!! Enjoy your travels, looking forward to more videos for our holiday ideas!!
Hi thank you for the video. I think there are a couple of Barcelo hotels in Caleta De Fuste, is that correct? And so does that mean, if you’re staying at one hotel, you can access the other hotels? Thank you.
Hi Jojo yes you have your main hotel which this video covers, you also have the Royal Level adults only hotel, then you have the Barcelo Castillo Bungalows which have a bar and restaurant right on the marina. Now if you are staying in the Royal Level hotel you can access all areas of each facility, if you are staying in the Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar you can not access the Royal Level, but if you are all inclusive you can use your all inclusive band down at the marina bar and restaurant, if you are half board you can still use them as the ones down the marina are open to the public but you would have to pay. I hope this is the information you are looking for please ask if you are still unsure but thank you for your comment and for watching it's much appreciated

We’re currently staying - so surpised we haven’t seen a single person speak about their drinks system, never known anything like it

It's a great hotel, went this year in January. Definitely try the Mexican and Brazilian restaurants on site - don't t eat beforehand for a few hours 😊
