- Ive had this bike for a while now but i finally made a video...ive been slacking really bad :) hope you guys enjoy ill try and make more footage. I got demonetized soooo i lost interest in a lot. Hopefully one day i will be again.
Hi all, it’s been 3 years since I’ve uploaded and 2 years since I’ve owned this quad. I hope this video is still informative or entertaining, I hope one day to buy another one just like this. It was by far my favorite quad I ever owned.
This vid is helpful. How reliable is the 700?
Your video here convinced me to pull the trigger on a used KFX 700. It's in decent shape, but someone rode the hell out of it with little to no maintenance. Blew the head gasket on the rear cylinder head and melted the rings on the front. I'm punching it out to 84mm bore (730cc) with a new piston kit and going through everything using the repair manual. New valves, timing / intermediate chains, wheel and swing arm bearings, water and oil pump, front brake re-build and new wheel bearings. It needs all of it done to be reliable again. Kawasaki did an excellent job engineering the V-Force.
Jason Drew Awesome man! Keep me posted on how the rebuild goes I’m glad I helped you want to bring it back to life.
Such a unique sport quad these were in a class of their own. Automatic a bit heavy but run through about anything a 4x4 will. Really probably way more fun than most people even know because they haven’t rode one yet 🤘🏼:)
Jerry Jrs Garage This is the most fun quad I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had many bikes haha I’ve done so many things with it so far and it’s been very reliable.
I bought mine new back in 2004 same color as yours. I put twin HMF cans on it! The machine is awesome, never part with it!
U know price on a 2005 same model??
Idk, i guess it depends on condition of the machine and all.....
@@locorangel9847 jst bought one for $3,700
@@Fuxkyou1188 what year bro? I just bought a 2004 kfx 700

These quads are beasts. My dad bought one brand new in 2006 and it was a monster. Seems like it had a lot more power than it actually did. To bad I didn’t get to ride it tho since I was olny 6 but ima buy one here soon if the price is right. They are wheelie monsters.
Thanks for the review I’m looking at buying one soon
Are they auto?
@@travismundog6598 yes I have one mysekf
I miss my 700 I blew it up and it was never the same r.i.p
microtechmachineshop yeah cause u blew it up lol
I love mine, 310 pounds and plenty of power.
HurricaneDT 77 Hell yeah, one of my favorite quads I’ve ever owned
got a spotless 2004 kfx700 for a steal. Most fun quad i ever owned besides my YFZ450X Bill Ballance Edition. Only flaw it had was rwd and its heavy, so its not the best mud quad. Did the job tho
Yupp, same here. Definitely one of my favorite quads that I’ve owned but it’s so heavy and looses traction easy. I haven’t taken mine mudding yet lol
I can’t ride clutch because I have a leg disease & Left leg kinda weak & someone was telling me I should get this bike but I like to wheelie would this be a good bike for this or the Polaris scrambler or sportsman’s?
FLY FLASHY Get this bike, best bargain for your buck. It’s all automatic and has so much more power than a scrambler or sportsman. In my opinion, all Polaris quads are 90% plastic and 10% metal. This KFX is built like a shit brick house, I’ve never had any problems mechanically or structurally with my KFX. This bike wheelies without even trying, she’s a little heavy but I never even had to try to make this bike wheelies she will come right up.
Son how did you drop plum out of the sky onto that motorsickle
I drank about 13 Red Bull’s and jumped about 20ft into the air and just landed on her at the right time, try it sometime it’s fun 😂
I don't know if you still have this or not but however the reliability
That sounds beautiful im planning on getting one as soon as I do my tax's
Sounds just like my brute force 750
i have an 07. It's awesome.
Hey dude, check out my review of my 2006, it doesn't sound quite as agressive as yours, but it sounds mean. Also, the thing about those quads, they sound like they have superchargers.
God bless spread his word!
Caleb J. My word? Lol what do you mean
Zack Raefski God’s word.

💯💯💯
Nice machine man. I’m looking at getting a 2004 as well green. Do you recommend this Atv ?
Nice video
Hey man i just bought a kfx 700 2004. When i turn the key to on mode the oil light stays on. But when i start up the atv the light turns off. Is this normal? I dont know if its just my kfx or all of them. Please reply. Thanks.
Chavy Cash Yes that’s totally normal. Mine did the same thing, when the key is on and the bike isn’t running the oil switch doesn’t have any oil pressure so it turns the light on. But once you start it the bike gets oil pressure the lights goes off it’s totally normal man
@@Zack_Raefski dude thanks so much man! I can now ride in peace. 👊👊👊👍👍👍
Chavy Cash Rip it up man 🤘🏻
i have a bike of these my own and i never understood how to wheelie it. i try the method where i throw my weight back but its hard. How do you wheelie your's
It’s all about finding your balance point and commitment. If you don’t lean back and commit, you won’t wheelie. I’ve been wheeling all types of quads for years and it’s just something you get used too. This will pretty much come up whenever you want. When you get it up in the air you have to stay leaned back and your arms straight, let the bike do the work. When I find the balance point I let off the throttle a bit and keep my foot barely on the rear brake. If she goes back to far let the gas off and hit the brake a hair, not hard just barely. It’s all about being comfortable when you’re that much in angle. Just practice slowly and then when you find the balance point it will all come into place.
thx bro, ima practice tommorow
I see your check belt light is on… mine does the same , have you figured out on how to fix it by any chance ? Mine a 04, v force twin dual yoshimura exhaust 🔥 she a beast but idk why the belt light is on… not only that I’ve encountered one other problem so far with her… only done it once started acting up on me on Easter 2022 after a good 6-7 hour ride & she started to not give full potential when I hit the throttle and does not pickup and stays at like 10-15MPH speed… 3 days later hoping she back to normal still doing the same… get back to me please I want to know how to fix the belt ligh, aswell curious if u have encountered this other issue of mine. Thank u love the vids want to c more😁🤝
Yes there is a way to reset it, it’s kind of hard to explain but if you google how to do it on a Kawasaki prairie it’s the same way. Since they share the same engine pretty much lol and I wish I still had this quad I sold it a couple years ago when I was down on cash. I’m hoping one day to buy it back
Got a 700 prairie, think it's time for a carb bath.
At mid range it acts like staving for gas because I pull the choke and it runs better.
Jets are clean and float needles are good.
Any help?
Heard new ignition box, jets, airflow valve job turns into "King Kong "
Mine used to do the same thing. I usually take carbs completely apart and clean each part by hand. I cleaned my carbs all the way through and each little port as best I could. I then ran a little bit of sea foam through the gas and ran it for a half hour or so and ever since I’ve never had an issue since. All my bike has is a jet kit, hmf exhaust and a larger belt. Other than that it’s stock. I don’t use carb baths that much because sometimes it will eat away seals and not get everything “clean”.
Do you know how to remove an axel on that machine...I can't find any videos for kfx700
My neighbor just got a 2004... Seem's fine, but the Damn Fan Only Works when it feels like it, and it started shooting antifreeze out the OverFlow Yesterday while Idling awhile.... Fan Wasn't coming On....
There's reasons why they dont make this 500+ lb quad anymore.. save some money and get a real sport quad like a raptor 700r se or a yfz450r...
This video is really old 😂 I sold this quad years ago, ive had many sports quads since then
@@Zack_Raefski ✌🏽🤘🏼
yeah im buying one foresure now
Is there anything done to the motor sounds good
life with Adrian All that’s been done is a jet kit and a HMF exhaust with the baffle taken out, it’s loud as hell but sounds aggressive
life with Adrian even stock they sound that good. The VTwin is an awesome sound. Endless TQ
take care of em and keep the dump shit to bare minimum. they'll last forever.
M!sTfiTs x I don’t even want to know how many hours or miles this bike has, I know it’s a lot from the past people who owned it before me. But it still runs like new, I haven’t had a complaint with it yet
will go in reverse but not drive?
Are they Manuel
Il buy it if you still have it
Im trying to buy one
i bought a 2004 kfx 700 last year for 2200, plastics are all zip tied on and everything is stock but i traded a clapped 2011 trx250x for it that i bought for 2200 but then again it would seize after like a hour so i think i got a good deal?
vi sloom28 vi As long as the KFX 700 mechanically is sound and in good running condition then yes. These things will take a beating and then some. This one has all new plastics on it the old ones were beat. But even for being a bike this old it still has plenty of power and runs great. Fix up your KFX and it will be a good reliable bike
These are automatic right?
Yes they are
What type belt
Twon Tont I cant remember the exact name of the belt, it’s a thicker one than original. My friend I got it from put it on before I got it
Do you still have this?
No I ended up selling it a couple years ago to pay off a medical bill of mine. It was one of my biggest regrets I hope to buy it back one day
@@Zack_Raefski why do you regret it? How much did you sell it for?
@@seemsfishy4289 It was the most fun quad Ive ever had, and they are hard to find in good shape now a days. I sold it for a little more than what I paid for it she had some little issues but nothing major. I just had to do what I needed too at that time
@@Zack_Raefski okay thank you there’s one out here on cali looks amazing for $5k
@@seemsfishy4289 If it’s in damn near perfect condition it’s worth it, they hold their value and are solid quads in my opinion
theres nothing utility about it its all sport ... I would add a back rack to it to give it some utility
How are you wheeling this quad?
Floor it, don't let up, hold on, and pray that you don't hit something solid like a tree.
It’s not hard. Find your balance point and just get used to it, I’ve been wheeling for a while. Just can’t be scared and lean back
why do you call it a bike? its not a bike its a quad, atv, four wheeler, etc... not a bike.
JC vapor A lot of people call them bikes...around here that’s what everyone calls them. It’s not like I’m saying “bicycle” . Same with Baltimore Bike Life. It involves 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. And they call 4 wheelers bikes. It’s just what some people say, there’s nothing wrong with it.
It's a bike
JC vapor What a strange comment. It IS a bike, a four wheeler bike.
i have a better video on my kfx700 2005 on my channel
Lol rich boy, you got zero class
ur quad sucks
The one with twin turbo ? Lol
Ricky Ricardo yall garbage
bad video :9
