Awesome footage and you can tell that there was a lot of attention paid in editing. This is definitely inspiring me to up my content creation game (I desperately need to upgrade my camera collection) You've earned this subscriber!!!
Thank you for the kind words Peter! I appreciate that very much. Take your time in the editing room and bring your creation to life! What tools do you use currently to create?
Nice, that's a lot of equipment! I think you have what you need to create awesome work! I watched some of your vids, they're great! Keep up the good work. :]
Thank you for the kind words Troy! :] This is shot with the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 and 0.71x metabones speed booster. The footage was shot at 60fps played back at 24fps.
In menu-settings you can choose the system frequency between 59.94hz NTSC, 50hz PAL, and 24hz cinema. If you switch to 24hz cinema mode, then you can shoot true 24p, whereas in NTSC 59.94hz mode you're actually shooting 23.976p when you choose a 24p recording mode - or 59.94p in 60p mode. In cinema 24hz mode you can over or undercrank to any other frame rate from 1 to 180fps using VFR - also in the menu. So if you're in C4k/100mpbs/8-bit/24p you can enable VFR and shoot at 60p. It'll be a true 60p dropped into a 24p file. When you transfer it to your PC you'll get an over cranked 24p file that plays at 40% slow mo, or you can just speed it back up 2.5x in post and have a 60p file. The upside here I guess is "true" 60p or 24p, but there are huge downsides. In VFR mode, there is no audio (!), and no autofocus (!). So you'll need external audio if you want sound, and you'll need to manually focus.
Awesome!!
thank you Justin! :]
