    Lol that's so crazy, I know Janis is a world champion, but I honestly didnt think he could do more weight than you and Antonovics. That's inspiring that you could still be strong even at a light weight

    These should always be thru the thumb because that most closely matches what will happen irl. This is the ultimate movement imo cause it mimics a starting position and shows if you can be moved/pronation lost ot not

    • @ethrez
      @ethrez 4 роки тому +2

      Strap is overused in us, but in europe, they understand true armwrestling is without it. So rather work on your finger strength.

      @@ethrez agreed. But like it is almost impossible to flopwrist press without straps

    • @ethrez
      @ethrez 3 роки тому

      @@nikolasdurcek8643 thats more about speed, you can beat it if youre juat as quick with a toproll or grab him in a hook. Point is, flop wrist doesnt work unless you make a mistake to keep your hand too far from your body. If you keep it close, flop shouldnt be an issue.

    • @nikolasdurcek8643
      @nikolasdurcek8643 3 роки тому

      @@ethrez honestly i'm a toproller and i do not have problem against flop press, but like my friend can flop press and sometimes even pin me. If he can press with flop wrist, it is just as dangerous as other styles. My point is, that you almost can't flop without straps because it will most likely cause slipout... And then you go for straps. So if you focus on flop, you have to know where to put straps and his question was right. No matter if you're from US or from Europe. I am from Europe btw...

    A lot of the exercises use the same muscles ie. hook and back pressure, these muscles could be overtrained.
    How are you avouding that. Could you provide a weekly planner for your training?
    I don't need weights and reps etc. Just the exercises, and days. That would be great.
    Otherwise the videos are great.

    You prefer this low attachment over a 90 degrees parallel one? I find the parallel attachment more intense since it also tests rising power (to some degree), what ya think coach?

    • @Alex-1750
      @Alex-1750 4 роки тому +1

      Kaisar Zaher you know there is no easy answer.
      All angles are welcomed.
      However keep in mind that usually a slightly higher attachments simulates better a match ,
      since in a match the opponents power tends to pull & lift your arm

    • @Hallowed_Ground
      @Hallowed_Ground 4 роки тому +1

      Grip isn't super important in armwrestling, strange as it may seem.
      If you're afraid or worried at least do low weight high reps and train that thing. Start working on it and around it, it'll heal and/or you'll adapt.
