Miles Morales Suite | Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (Original Soundtrack) by John Paesano

Sharing the gameplay spotlight alongside Peter, Miles' rise to stardom over the last few years has been great to see. After the comics, cartoons, movies, and now starring alongside Peter in a brand new adventure, it's great to see him rise up the echelon of Spider-Man characters. Paesano of course brings back his fantastic theme for the up-and-comer, electric keyboard, hip-hop beats and all. What separates the way his theme is composed in this game to that of his own game comes to the instrumentation and atmosphere of the game's score overall. With the stakes and emotions more potent than ever before, Miles' theme is played in a variety of unique ways. From solemn violin, to a choir, to an empassioned orchestral performance during Fighting Back, Miles' theme truly ascends into more heroic and grand territory, cementing it as my personal favorite theme between the two Insomniac Spider-Men. Though that may change when I make Peter's suite, I flip flop between the two constantly lmao.

Man, the way they developed Miles's story with Martin Li was excellent, one of the best things about the game, I loved it

Miles' arc of needing to heal and overcome his grief, doubt, and anger over losing his father to truly come into his own and help Peter when he needed it most was done so damn good in this game. Definitely elevated Insomniac's version of Miles from a little over okay to a fave for me. Everytime his motif started playing through the big scenes in the game I just had the biggest damn grin on my face
It's just so triumphant. Excellent work putting it all together.

Anyone know what the song that plays sometimes when you're swinging as miles that plays when you're at the halfway point kf the story? It's the same one that plays after you switch to miles in the state of play demo, I can't find it in the OST
