thaank you soo much Dr. Paul .... your videos are great and help alot 🖒
YOU ARE AWESOME ! THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
If I had to venture an educated guess on the topic of why being an adolescent leads to increased risk of endometritis I would say it could be due to the fact that there is eversion of the endocervix leading to greater ability for bacteria to infect the endometrium.
Fantastic video, thank you!
In a previous video you mentioned it's best to give clindamycin for prophylaxis in case of C-section. Which one is it?
Thank you so much Dr. Paul.
This was very informative, thank you so much 😊 quick question, I recently had a baby and experienced endometritis. I had an emergency C-section and experienced fevers, chills, elevated heart rate (Tachycardia) and shortness of breath. But for some reason the combination of medicine that they were giving me wasn’t working my fever continued to elevate so they sent me to icu in which they decided to do a D&C. My doctor said he got almost all of it out but I guess my question is if I do decide to have another child will I have to go through this again? ( sorry for the long story)
Hey there. I had endometritis twice. My birth with the twins and than my son. I almost died the first time I had it because my infection was almost missed. The second time I felt the symptoms before it got really bad fever pain with walking and trying to use the bathroom. I went to the hospital and they caught it before it got bad. I hope if you have more children that you never ever go through it again.
Khadija B thank you so much for sharing your experience! That gives me hopes on having another one in the future. Thanks again, you’ve changed my prospective!
I had endometritis with my first child following a prolonged labor and c-section. With my second child, I chose to have a planned c-section and everything went great. No endometritis.
Hope you can have a happy, healthy second delivery, if/ when you decide to have another!
Thx U Dr Paul🙏
