To Santa Cruz: hey Y'all if you're still watching, what we REALLY need is a deck that will work with T-hangars, the greatest trucks of all time. We need a small width for them you know like up to 7.25 or something but a longer length that's not so "kiddey". And 30" is not enough, 32" is my personal go-to but I know that sounds insane on paper (but 30" and shorter is insane in real life). Thanx for listening!!
Great product vid. Maybe SC can start making more 90-95a wheels. Skated the late 80s and I remember most of our wheels were that duro. Best all around street/park wheels imo.

Dude slimeball vomit mini 97a just ordered oj2 keyframes 86a I got ricta chrome clouds 86a and they slide no problem. You got to dig deep into their wheels but santa cruz has them maybe not 90 or 95a cause i think that was more of an 80s durometer that just isn't made much anymore. I got the 55mm slimeball vomits 97a and they are made just like the old days. Thr ricta chrome clouds though are my skate any where any surface wheel. Thats why I ordered the oj keyframes wanted to compare them.
I love smaller boards like that to just mellowly screw around on. A small scale park like this with little boxes and rails is perfect for this. Currently riding a krooked ZipZinger Nano for this; also only 7 1/8" wide. Penny Nickel size plastic boards can do to if you can buy one for really cheap, slap some griptape on it and you have a fun, mini mini-sesh board. (But of course the plastic will snap eventually)
Got one for my nephew and he loves it. Only issue is the trucks and bushings. The trucks dont center so when he pushes the board turns to the side. the truck doesnt stay down in the pivot cup.
my favorite is that little pig shape toy board. it's just 6x21, flat with a kicked 4" tail and maybe 1.5" of nose. came with plastic trucks and lousy wheels and fake bearings, love that the cruise factor is still there, and when ya walk up a hill, it's like carrying a pencil.
you were so negative in the beginning about what you can do on this board due to its small size ...but by the end you were treflipping it in socks lol .....I learned how to do impossible's on a banana board ...little blue plastic banana board lol ...I was thinking how this board would be way easier then a banana board would be ....perfect starter board for a kid ...nice job Santa Cruz as always
Overall i Love Santa cruz so much i bought the Creature lineup and Santa cruz lineup pro model decks 8.25 and they look like they were made very well and have Nice concave and Shape Also I'm liking the vx lineup very Strong Decks! i just think those mini decks need the shape and concave as the full size Decks you guys sell and then that would be amazing!
I wear a size 10 and a half and I skate an 8 inch deck but I do happen to own a little Penny board and yes I can ride it. Id rather skate my 8 inch deck than the penny board. I feel you on the size difference Andrew
Mucking around on a penny size boards is just a totally different experience; especially with the gummy wheels and extreme lean-y trucks, no nose, virtually no tail, and so on.
You guys should add more shape and concave to these micro decks that would be nice the shape and concave looking real cheapy Walmart status here lol i ya know what i mean i know you guys can make it better just over time!
I have this board but bigger and the deck is good but I wouldn’t recommend getting the trucks wheels or barings bc there not that smooth and get messed up easy
I think I’ll get this size it’s my first time having and buying a skateboard and I’m 16 but I’m 4’10/4’11 and weigh 101 with a 4or5.5 size feet so I think this will be fine for me 😅
So its only been a month and none are in stock? I know they sell fast ! So how much was it from NHS factory? Someone is selling one on ebay for $133.00 but states the wheels are 99a and another with 95a wheels. We all know Zumiez is not the local skateshop but the main reason they suck so much is because they never have ANYTHING in stock. And dorks work there. I asked a lady for some Indy bushings and she said "What are bushings"? 🙄... last note us old schoolers like the other Rob Roskopp design that has the horizontal face! Definitely like that one and the shape! Not talking about the funny torpedo shape one either!
I'm definitely copping one of these for Christmas. My 3 year old is going to love it.

Or like an 8.5" but with a shortened wheelbase. I prefer wider decks, but anything over 13.x to 14" wheelbase is kind of a monster to me.
@@PHeMoX they should just make a series of boards that are all steep twin tail 8.5 but have different wheelbases and lengths from 13-14 and 29-30.
