Played by “The Missouri Jazz Band”
    Opera-Phone 8235
    (78 rpm record)
First of all, I accidentally inverted the number of the record in the video, it SHOULD be 8235, and I can't be bothered fixing it. Secondly, I’ve been referring to the American Dance Bands on Record book as being written by Shirley and Johnson, when it was in fact compiled by Richard J. Johnson and Bernard H. Shirley. Also...I'm too lazy to correct that when it appeared in other videos.
According to Johnson & Shirley in “American Dance Bands on Record and Film 1915 - 1942” state the following personnel in this record:
“D. ONIVAS” - J&S state that this was a pseudonym used by Pathe Actuelle musical director Domenico Savino. Pathe, in turn, used many other pseudonyms and re-released Savino’s records on a great many other labels as well. “Doodle-Doo-Doo” was also released on the Canadian label, APEX, with the same number, and also attributed to “The Missouri Jazz Band.” J&S gives the following personnel - Harry Gluck (cornet); unknown trumpet, trombone, 2 clarinet/alto sax, clarinet/tenor sax, violin, piano, banjo, brass bass, and drums. Ernest Hare (vocal). New York, c. May 22, 1924.
I didn’t use any noise reduction on this record as I thought it sounded not too bad already.
