For the first time ever, screen legends Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan face off against each other in battle in this epic fantasy-adventure! In order to save his homeland from certain doom, a kung fu master (Chan) must escape from the maniacal James Hook (Schwarzenegger) in order to send his daughter a secret talisman that will allow her to control a massive and mythical dragon. This larger-than-life, globe-trotting tale - ranging from the impenetrable Tower of London to the fabled Silk Road and China’s Great Wall - also stars Rutger Hauer in one of the screen icon’s final performances.
This looks like a big budget B grade movie with A list legendary actors with C grade acting skills and I can’t wait to watch it.

@Norm T Terminator 2 is probaly the biggest blockbuster Arnold have been in and its 1991. Jackie was in Rush Hour that is 1998 and Shanghai Noon in 2000. Before that he was in Chinese movies. If want to be be an "smartass" and correct me, get your facts straight. Unless you think "Mi ni te gong dui" and "Hercules in New York" was their top.

Every time Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan are shown in the trailer they're in same costumes and set. Confirmed by those who have seen it that they appear for a total of 15 minutes, tops.
That's quite the letdown if true, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is.

Breaking down the the trailer and the title of the movie "Iron Mask" Jackie Chan get's the medallion to the guy in the iron mask for him to escape, make it to china, and save the world. Jackie and Arnie's cameo at the start probably lasts 10 minutes. It worked for Executive Decision to put Segal on the poster only for him to die in 10 mins 🤣
Also, Arnold's character is the warden of a very large prison, who wears his uniform all the time, and Jackie Chan is a prisoner, it's not like he has a whole wardrobe of clothes to choose from. But, yes. They had a small but satisfying part in the movie.

I just watched this movie for the 10th time and still counting. It is a brilliant "steganography" I have never viewed a film this complex and yet humorous at the same time . Now I'm behaving like my grandchildren used to do at 3yrs. I rewind and watch this movie over and over again. NOW!!! Granny understands it's a good thing. You discover something new every time you watch. And Granny could not see what you saw at the time but Thanks to Zeus and Rush Hour I have seen the light. What LOVE!!!

I see all of that, but.....I'll still drop my brain in a bucket by the door and give it a try. I'm not confident I won't get to the end and and say 'Meh, that was a waste' but I'll still hope the sum of the whole is greater than the parts until it is proved otherwise. For anybody who's confused, this is "Viy 2: Journey to China" that was renamed "The Iron Mask" in the UK and now just "Iron Mask" for the US. It's a sequel to "Viy", called "Forbidden Empire/Kingdom." in the west. Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarzenegger are not the leads.

This is not the first time seeing Jackie Chan & Arnold Schwarzenegger together in one film. The last time they were together is in "Around the World in 80 Days" where Arnold only had a minor role.

Honestly, these people spent their money wisely, if they had had spent more on better writers and more realistic effects, no one would watch their movie, but 98 % of people here (me included) will watch it just to see Arnie and Jackie for a couple of minutes together.

This movie came out in 2019 and was a collab between some Russian and Chinese companies (Russian directors and producers though) but I guess Lionsgate is rebranding it since I'm pretty sure Iron Mask isn't the original title. Both Jackie Chan and Arnold have a very small involvement and they mostly do their own thing while the plot of the movie goes in another direction (I'm trying to avoid writing spoilers). It isn't a terrible movie but it kinda feels like you wasted a couple of hours once you've seen it.
I am sure this is not a cameo run for them.
