The design didnt change what changed was the model, they will probably make an actual revamp for him in the future thats why they didnt waste time making a new animation
He really scales a lot, and usually games only last about 15 to 20 mins at *minimum* and by that time aldous probably wouldn't have that much stacks, so only actual aldous users that really know how to max his stacks effectively uses him, hence the scarce of new aldous user
