No one ever said he was poor. Everything that happened was like at the spur of the moment. So at that specific time he probably didn’t have much on hand and had to borrow. That doesn’t indicate poverty. These days it’s easy to do a quick wire transfer but that can still happen to anybody regardless of who your parents are.
