- Davido, aka the "King of Afro Beats," reveals that his father was so adamant that he finish school he went so far as to shut down his concerts. Davido also dishes on his latest album "Timeless," and reveals that he asked his label for four more months in the studio so that he could go back to his old neighborhood and reunite with his original African producers to finish the album.

Oliver twist by Dbanj was the first Afrobeats sound to go mainstream as in the charts and playing on the radio it kind of took off from there even though there were a phlethra of other artists that were doing there thing.

I actually liked him in this interview than in others he has done. It looked like he made a conscious decision to reoresent and he was showing that we di not live in trees and there is wealth in Nigeria.
