Surplus Yarns Stories is full of knitting and crochet inspiration for you on what to do with your leftover yarn. In this show myself and Leanie from @independence_yarn_crafts chat about all our knitting and crochet projects that we are currently making with our surplus yarns.
We also chat about the Battenberg Blanket Make A Long that we are hosting on Instagram for 2023 and 2024 - and show our Battenberg Blanket progress. Leanie is crocheting her blanket ( it is a crochet pattern!) but I am knitting my version! I have made a free downloadable pdf on ravelry and a video tutorial on how to knit the squares and another video tutorial on how to crochet the squares together - all free videos on my channel.

Yes it is so pretty! I think I will try the corner to corner moss stitch for the next scrappy blanket. I am sure it will be fun!!
