Mmmh, Rage is such a selective word, I can say. Why do I say so? Because by the time you get to that stage, there has been a lot of build-up from situations and other trigger points, but you choose to stick it out? A good example is two adults in a relationship; you will find that there is one who is always aware of the heat and toxicity that exists, and in trying to hope the other person changes, you decide to stay on and, in most cases, they are the ones who become the victims of such crimes. My perspective on this issue is that emotional abuse or violence, if I may call it that, is more dangerous than physical violence. People don't get it that emotional abuse is more damaging than physical. In this instance am not validating physical violence, but emotional torture kind of pushes one's mental state into a new level of numbness. One starts to imagine what kind of pain I would inflict on the other person that can measure to what I am feeling now? For some people killing is just a quick solution to ending the whole thing, while for others, slow death becomes the ultimate option. At this point, the love is no longer there; there is a lot of numbness and emotionless anger that cannot be subdued with words alone. Just my two cents about this topic. ❤❤❤❤
