I believe that one of the steps we, as men, should take to debunk toxic masculinity is to stop seeing the desire to get married as something feminine. We should also find joy in learning how to express our love for our partners. I mean, imo I think that the 'Joy Ride' podcast is generally presented as a podcast about relationships and marriages. It's interesting to me that a significant portion of the comments usually comes from women. On the flip side, you'll find more men in the comment sections of podcasts that are overtly sexual. That is quite concerning to me
I share same sentiments as Charisma, We try so hard to find a reason for everything. not everything is a result trauma, some people are just outright bad/evil, periodttttt.
The reason you guys struggled to think of things done by men is a great opportunity to reflect on how men have privilege.Women have to fight for a lot of what we think it’s obvious that’s why you can name a lot.But there are things done by men like those that have paved a way for women to enter and thrive in the corporate space they are not celebrities but they have been impactful am a good example and we can see the evolution.
This was just great❤❤❤ The thing of calling your friends out even between women, I feel like it's the same, some will call you off others won't in the name of "I don't want to ruin our friendship" which I think it's not right.... I feel like for your friends, call them out when they're wrong and appreciate them when they are on the right... that's what Love, caring is in friendship, relationship ☺️☺️ Thank you Joyriders ❤
Charisma is vibes😂😂😂 I loved this episode 🎉part 2,3 and 4 pliiiiiiiiz😅😅 Ben get another topic with this guyz once or twice more😅 My love for joyride growing deeper n deeper 😊❤
Ben culture can be toxic. Actually, many people develop aspects of toxic masculinity from their culture. Most cultural norms and behaviors pressure men to conform to traditional stereotypes of toughness, emotional suppression, and dominance. So in addressing toxic masculinity one has to go down to how they were raised and whether their culture is the root cause.
Men are shallow in terms of their relationship with fellow men, that why being Bros for life is easier but they know nothing deep about each other ,they don't bother knowing each other deeply, never explore their emotions and that's too shallow for me ,solid friendship needs so much cultivation yhoo
Nice but my opinion & observation is that men have the best friendship with their boyz compared to women.men are loyal to their boyz, men accept each other's with their flaws ; its ride or die kinda friendship
