US Commerce Secretary Says No Evidence China Can Make Advanced Chips at Scale

US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo is casting doubt on China's ability to build advanced chips at scale. This comes as Huawei Technologies Co. released a new phone with an advanced 7-nanometer chip made by China’s Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp.
