Every year there is increasingly more effort being put into everything in Spooky Month, and the OST, as well as the animation that comes with it, is no exception! Specifically in the usual soundtrack upload, there's always little animations and different expressions that Skid and Pump can wear, but this year? Pelo and zombicool went all out! In almost every song there is a different event happening on screen, and that is some attention to detail that can't be overstated! It's much more than just Skid and Pump changing moods, it's their transformation, quick cameos from other characters, Father Gregor leaving and staying in the room depending on the context of the song, the background changes, all of it! It's just amazing to look at, like, nothing out of ordinary happens, but this sixteen minute video got me glued to my screen, because it's just fun to appreciate the songs AND the animation that comes with it! After seein' Sword's work on UTY, I knew I had to follow their stuff more closely, even though I already knew they worked on Spooky Month before even meeting UTY. Time and time again, the tracks they compose are always full of meaning and clear passion! "Foolish Sinners" going from the sneaky vibes, to then make a quick bust out (just like the thieves themselves!), "The Garden's Guardian", probably my favorite track in the whole episode. The way it conveys the father's purpose so well with such a simple and somber melody, playing in every instance that he appears, asserting his dominance over the scene with his wise and protective words, just like it was made with Bob in Tender Treats, another amazing instance of an awsome and well-built character. It was the perfect way to do Father Gregor's character in my opinion (no wonder he became my favorite of the whole series, maybe rivaling with Skid and Pump's playful and mostly innocent nature). The background change that comes with "Vessel's Parasite" sets Moloch's demonic vibes perfectly, and "The 9th Circle" only enhances it by clearly telling a tragic story throughout it! The conflict between Gregor and Moloch is brought to another level of grandness with this one, it really puts the "hollow" in "sorrows" if ya know what I mean. Then rounding off with "Ashes to Ashes", taking Skid and Pump's chaotic nature to the evil spectrum at first (managing one of the best parts of the episode 'cause that xylophone riff was just godly! A shame that it was cut short, a full song with that vibe would be a treat to listen to, even though that's more or less what "Valley of Shadows" goes for), and then going back to that magnificent chorus, building up to Father Gregor finally defeating Moloch to the ground! With "Desbelieve", I was completely struck by. That song being the one to wrap up the sorrowful episode made me weridly emotional, and made me deeply think of the situation some of these people are in. The camera panning away from Lila and Skid, as the last chords of the guitar play out... It made me realize that this show is growing in a way I didn't expect, like it is becoming more serious, mature, like it's aging... I might be misremembering it, but where does "Tubular Swings" play? I don't remember it from the episode. Was it unnused, and that's why it is at the end of the list? Either way, I was expecting it to be a remixed version of "Scary Swings", but it is something very different from it. It kinda sounds like it could be a credits theme, but not one that would exactly fit this episode ("Judgement Hour already does a wonderful job at that ;). Never have I ever been so curious to see what Spooky Month has in store after an ending like "Hollow Sorrows" had, and I hope Sword can be there next time to give the life we all know and love to this amazing show!

I was ecstatic to have gotten the Spooky Month Vol.1 OST on just about every format, and now here we are to another bundle of absolutely memorable tracks you’ve given to Spooky Month. Seriously, I really don’t know how you are able to put together the perfect symphony for each scene, but you truly help in elevating every tense, jovial, and heartbreaking moment within this episode with the variety of music tracks and genres that just sound so unique it could only be attributed by your incredible mind and ear for music. It's a fantastic reference to tubular bells the main theme of the exorcist, that I honestly love and i'm really happy that sr pelo has referenced the most beutiful horror movie

Every year there is increasingly more effort being put into everything in Spooky Month, and the OST, as well as the animation that comes with it, is no exception! Specifically in the usual soundtrack upload, there's always little animations and different expressions that Skid and Pump can wear, but this year? Pelo and zombicool went all out! In almost every song there is a different event happening on screen, and that is some attention to detail that can't be overstated! It's much more than just Skid and Pump changing moods, it's their transformation, quick cameos from other characters, Father Gregor leaving and staying in the room depending on the context of the song, the background changes, all of it! It's just amazing to look at, like, nothing out of ordinary happens, but this sixteen minute video got me glued to my screen, because it's just fun to appreciate the songs AND the animation that comes with it!
After seein' Sword's work on UTY, I knew I had to follow their stuff more closely, even though I already knew they worked on Spooky Month before even meeting UTY. Time and time again, the tracks they compose are always full of meaning and clear passion! "Foolish Sinners" going from the sneaky vibes, to then make a quick bust out (just like the thieves themselves!), "The Garden's Guardian", probably my favorite track in the whole episode. The way it conveys the father's purpose so well with such a simple and somber melody, playing in every instance that he appears, asserting his dominance over the scene with his wise and protective words, just like it was made with Bob in Tender Treats, another amazing instance of an awsome and well-built character. It was the perfect way to do Father Gregor's character in my opinion (no wonder he became my favorite of the whole series, maybe rivaling with Skid and Pump's playful and mostly innocent nature).
The background change that comes with "Vessel's Parasite" sets Moloch's demonic vibes perfectly, and "The 9th Circle" only enhances it by clearly telling a tragic story throughout it! The conflict between Gregor and Moloch is brought to another level of grandness with this one, it really puts the "hollow" in "sorrows" if ya know what I mean. Then rounding off with "Ashes to Ashes", taking Skid and Pump's chaotic nature to the evil spectrum at first (managing one of the best parts of the episode 'cause that xylophone riff was just godly! A shame that it was cut short, a full song with that vibe would be a treat to listen to, even though that's more or less what "Valley of Shadows" goes for), and then going back to that magnificent chorus, building up to Father Gregor finally defeating Moloch to the ground!
With "Desbelieve", I was completely struck by. That song being the one to wrap up the sorrowful episode made me weridly emotional, and made me deeply think of the situation some of these people are in. The camera panning away from Lila and Skid, as the last chords of the guitar play out... It made me realize that this show is growing in a way I didn't expect, like it is becoming more serious, mature, like it's aging...
I might be misremembering it, but where does "Tubular Swings" play? I don't remember it from the episode. Was it unnused, and that's why it is at the end of the list? Either way, I was expecting it to be a remixed version of "Scary Swings", but it is something very different from it. It kinda sounds like it could be a credits theme, but not one that would exactly fit this episode ("Judgement Hour already does a wonderful job at that ;).
Never have I ever been so curious to see what Spooky Month has in store after an ending like "Hollow Sorrows" had, and I hope Sword can be there next time to give the life we all know and love to this amazing show!
