  • Today I am fishing with Jeremy Mattingly at Reelfoot Lake trying to catch some big Bream, or Bluegill. This was so much fun that it ended up being a 2 part show. #ACCCrappieStix #BoneHead #Asleepatthereel #Thumpgel #SniperMarine #crappiemonster

    We had a great time on Reelfoot Lake. Can't wait to do it again. Let me know what you think. Are you a bluegill fisherman? What is your favorite way to catch them?

      It is a nice lake. This is the first time for me to bluegill fish. Normally I am crappie fishing. Never got the chance as I had a boat problem so did not get back out there and left early in the morning instead of fishing. Kind of sad, but will be back out there!

      Will do, will get some Red Ear Next time. I tried so hard to get this video out that there were many mistakes. Uploading the part 2 for next week now. Hope it is a little better. Thanks for taking me, and for taking the time to comment.

    Hello ! Would you recommend me to buy the ACC crappie stix 8 foot super grip spinning rod for casting for shells crawler and red ear and bluegill and crappie from the bank please. I.will be doing nothing but casting from the bank that’s I do is casting. May the lord be in your heart today to answer my question and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your UA-cam channel in 2024 please 🙏🙏 ! Do the ACC crappie stix spinning rod have a strong backbone to land a catfish are a bass to the bank if they get on your line please.

      Great question. I would say the 8 ft or the 7. If you are just doing shell cracker or pan fish I would say maybe the 6 ft rod, but looking at bass and catfish I would say continue up and get the 8ft rod. Yes, the back bone is great on these rods. I caught a 30 pound catfish on the 12ft rod. It just takes some work. Great question.

    I fished reelfoot the fish do not taste good

    • @AsleepAtTheReel
      @AsleepAtTheReel  4 місяці тому

      Honestly I have not tasted a difference. Part of it might be that I clean them and eat right then, no freezer time. That is interesting though. I wonder why that is?

    Great show. That’s why you need a bang bang so you don’t have to jump out the boat. See ya soon be safe
