She should not listen to you
She should sing to win not to make people dance. She should pick songs that milk her vocal sweet spots and bring out the best in her voice and personality.
Hell NO. That would be a bad move for her. She's been spot on with her song choices. She shouldn't try to sing anything just because it's in her head that America or the judges wanna hear something more upbeat or to dance too. I personally don't wanna hear her sing any pop songs that are so tik tok-ish. She can get more upbeat, but only with the right songs. I want her to stay true to herself.
These young ladies are talented but all the songs sound the same let's have some upbeat music.
This type of music suits her voice best and I think it was a good and safe choice for her to sing this song that’s best for her voice on the chance that she might have to fight for the judges choice.

This season has more singer/songwriter females, so you're not gonna get alot of pop/dance types of songs... maybe front Nya and Jayna?(Probably spelled her name wrong) but McKenna, Abi, KB and Emmy have a different style... Thank God! I love this seasons female contestants!!
I stopped watching American Idol years ago because people just don't know good singers when they hear them! I started watching again because the singers are so good but, once again people are voting more country again and those singers are not that good!
This is the first time that I think country singers are legitimately good.... Triston, Will and Mia have a chance to win and become stars as well as McKenna and Abi!
