The way he said “rice” in Arabic sounded so similar to how we say rice in Spanish I went down a history rabbit hole and because the Muslims ruled over Spain for 700 years. The Muslims was the big reason Latin America has some of the food it has. There are a lot of grains fruits and more that came from the Muslims that was brought to us in Mexico. I didn’t know we had a connection like that. Much love
