Sinner's Creed is the uncensored memoir of Scott Stapp, Grammy Award--winning leader of the multiplatinum rock band CREED. During CREED's decade of dominance and in the years following the band's breakup, Scott struggled with drugs and alcohol, which led not only to a divorce, but also to a much-publicized suicide attempt in 2006. Now clean, sober, and in the midst of a highly successful solo career, Scott has finally come full circle-a turnaround he credits to his renewed faith in God.
In Sinner's Creed, Scott shares his story for the first time-from his fundamentalist upbringing, the rise and fall of CREED, and his ongoing battle with addiction, the rediscovery of his faith, and the launch of his solo career. The result is a gripping memoir that is proof positive that God is always present in our lives, despite the colossal mess we sometimes make of them.

He is dancing around the subject. Seems like a nice guy, thru Rebellion, Sold his soul to the Devil for fortune and fame, and NOW he is waking up to his decisions in life. Great singer and band.

Nice to listen to him. Sounds like some of his dads in him n he speaks very well. A very smart guy. Totally into his transformation. Much better then watching him trip over himself drunk!

I just want to tell Scott that he is not a master to sin as he says in his book on page 230---sure he is a sinner--we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God--but we have forgiveness in Christ and have been set free---for now greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. We shall always sin as long as we are on this earth but we are not a slave to it. Scott, you are free and walking in God's grace-----God bless you--Pat

I bought the book and have listened to it. I gives great insight to Scotts life, upbringing, meeting the band members and the start of a huge journey with a career that most of us would only dream of (even though with GOD we don't have to), but most of all a different perspective on GOD and a living and loving relationship with him that sometimes is so hard to see or understand. I am a rock drummer who also have been in and out of my relationship with GOD, still hanging on for my life. Joh 8:32

Much respect for Mr. Stapp. I think he is an awesome singer blessed by our FATHER! Although I disagree with his last statement because you CAN be perfect, anyone can, and it is always a choice away to be. With our flesh being so weak before the temptations of evil spirits who wish to mess our relationship with GOD for our destruction and suffering like they are suffering, the only way to truly be perfect is always obeying our LORD JESUSCHRIST and having Faith at all times in our FATHER

Scott has had his fair share of trouble. But the things he's been through happen to people all the time, its only because he was famous that all this criticism is even pointed at him. Seeing him today as opposed to 10 years ago its obvious he has come a long way. If a famous actor was caught so much as watching soap-operas it would be all over the internet, that's the bad side of being famous.

my dad john curry is the old guitar player of that band. Scott Stapp in the great divide album and song took all of the credit from the songs and my dad mainly wrote all of the songs and got no credit for any of them. And if you don't believe me go to Pandora and listen to one of the song and them go to the credits and there is no John Curry.
If you want to listen to some real music them listen to Hounds Of Jezebel
    Singer: John Curry
    Guitar: Chris Loveless
    Bass: Rooster
    Drums: Mikey
    Thx

Perhaps you don't believe in God, but that doesn't make Him any less real. Why have you bought into the world system? Scott Stapp knows what he is talking about.

Love you bro. but I'm sorry...you're so wrong. Sin is the transgression of "gods" law. Whose god? What god? Sin is a man made concept. Trace that all the way back to the Sumarian Tablets.
Tell you one thing tho, this is a PERFECT WAY to market to the Xian community... You are GOD Scott. You ARE SOURCE ENERGY. Open your mind a bit bro...love YOURSELF and only then can you LOVE others. You need to spend more time in the books the mainstream Xian community rejected, the apocryphal books. Learn..
