I own a 99 Honda crv great car and great video u popped up on my feed as I was recently looking for ways to camp in my own crv I'm from Pennsylvania it gets really cold
Thanks for watching! Being inside the crv definitely takes the the wind chill away. We usually take a few sleeping bags to put under and over us while sleeping in a bag each. Plus before we go to be I run the heater full blast to warm everything up.
This makes me so sad, I had sold my 2001 CR-V a few years ago. Had it for 10 years for high school, college, and everything. Never let me down once, was always there when I needed it.
My car has air conditioning for the summer. If it’s over 60° at night I always tent camp. I use the inside bed if it’s going to be 40° or colder usually.
I like how it looks. I have damaged it but was able to bent it back in shape. The weakness it has is the side supports just are not very strong. With that said it’s definitely saved my oil pan. No oil when draining either. Thanks for watching!
Thanks man it’s original. I keep a nice coat of wax on it and that helps. In real life it looks pretty rough in direct sunlight. Lots of trail scratches. Thanks for watching bud!
Hello my friend, i like it. I'm from Ukraine south part. I have CRV Gen 2, engine K20A - 150 hp. No any add perfomence. Its good car good quolity. I like your tayers, wich size?
@@LoganJohnsonWA Love it. I have the same CRV and want this exact look. You mentioned rear strut spacer. (1.5) I'm assuming from aerogenicsusa.com $89 and nothing up front. If so this is exciting as it won't be expensive to get that performance you achieved. (Any other pointers? or things you've done suspension wise) I'll be buying the BFG K02 215/75 on stock rims also.
Oh yeah. I'm from Central California. I came across your video because I plan on car camping. I'm trying to figure out what I'd need to get my CR-V trail ready. // Thanks
is this AWD/4WD? One just popped up locally for sale for a killer deal but its FWD and wondering if they are pretty capable with just the 2 wheel drive.
Hello mine is all wheel drive. Front wheel drive is fine for most applications. In the snow you would definitely want to rear wheels to help you get going. Thanks for watching!
Wow, the scenery is breathtaking!
Thank you!
Just got my crv 1st gen 2001 ordered some big all terrain tires can't wait to have it all set up!
That is an amazing car and you guys rock!
Thank you for the support, you rock too!
Awesome video
Starting to build my crv as well and I'm also in seattle area
Thanks for watching! Catch you out on the trails

@@LoganJohnsonWA Good tips thanx 👍🙌👌
Your car is in a great condition.
Thank you 🙏
Cool video
Thank you!
Amazing scenery. How was the CRV in the snow? Looking to build a "budget" vehicle for the wife and I to travel like your video.
Hi thanks for watching! The crv does fine in the snow. I think it’s all in the tires. Wishing you safe travels.
@@LoganJohnsonWA Thanks bud! Have a great weekend.
Honda let’s go places 👍
I really want to go there in my crv. Its only about a 2 hour drive from Burien
This makes me so sad, I had sold my 2001 CR-V a few years ago. Had it for 10 years for high school, college, and everything. Never let me down once, was always there when I needed it.
There are always more that need good homes. What did you replace it with?
@@LoganJohnsonWA One day I came across a Grandma used 2012 Civic LX, and immediately picked it up.
Love your vid bro.. i get my crv 2006 last summer.. greetings from Greece! lets explore!!
what tires and size are you running? i like the looks of them
Those are bfgoodrich k02 all terrain tires. 215-75 which is like one size bigger than stock
@@LoganJohnsonWA were those 16 inch tires?
The most beautiful state in the lower 48 imo but maybe im biased living here😂
Washington is great!
Good video, some explanation as to how did you actually sleep in the CRV (folded the seats, etc), could be beneficial.
Thank you! It was dark when we set up but next time we set up I’ll try and capture a video.
The seats turn into a bed so you can always do that.
hey bud. Probably super late hahah. But have a question, those tires are fitted without a lift or you have the car lifted? Thanks
Hi! I had wheel spacers and a rear lift spacer. About 1.5 inch rear lift only.
How do you keep the Car cool during the day when its hot outside?
My car has air conditioning for the summer. If it’s over 60° at night I always tent camp. I use the inside bed if it’s going to be 40° or colder usually.
@@LoganJohnsonWAThanks for the response, Hey was wondering if you add reflective to the roof will it help are sum type of installation?
how do you like the ask skid plate? you think its strong? when you change your oil do you have to remove it every time? clean ride.

What are you tires size? Also what other mods did u do to the suspension?
Hi Im running 215/75r15 tires and have about a 2" lift on it. Plus upper control arms and trailing arm spacers. Thanks for watching!
Did you respray the crv it looks like new?

Hello! My tires are 235/75r15 which should also work on a gen 2 crv.
very cool vid,crv leading the way but what happened to your ears? hope you make a full recovery
Thanks bro. I was born with holes in my ears.
Hi. I'm from indonesia. I like CRV gen 1
How does it feel to ride in winter because there's no snow
Success keeps the channel going
Thank you for watching!
Hi. What size tires do you have fitted to the Honda? Did you lift the suspension up?
Hello I had a 1.5 inch rear spacer when I shot this video. The tire size is 215/75r15 just a little bigger than stock.

What size tires and lift if any?
In this video I had a 1.5” spacer in the back only. My tire size is 215/75r15. In my new videos I’ve added an inch of lift front and rear.
Hey how did you get a flat surface to sleep on in there?
My seats fold down into a bed. The rears lay flat and I remove the front head rests and the front seats go flat and form the platform.
@@LoganJohnsonWA Oh cool thank you very much for the reply!
Hi just wanted to know what type of tires do you use for your crv?
Hi I’m using bfgoodrich k02 tires. Thank you for watching 😁
Is it lifted?
Yup 1.5 inch in the back for this video.
