- How will the monster supercharged CSR perform in the wet around Snetterton 300? A chance for the less powerful Caterhams to claim a scalp? Watch an epic race between the world's fastest Caterhams racing today.
Tyres were Avon ZZS, full race wets not allowed in CSCC Mag 7s.
Black CSR - supercharged 2.5 Duratec
Orange CSR - Mountune NA 2.5 Duratec with Traction Control
Great race and congrats on the 1-2
thanks for watching, it was a fun race we could only race that close knowing that neither of us would try to run each other off the track.
Congrats!👑
Thanks for watching jw8oq5j2v!
51 or 81 😊?
I was 81 but 51 was the car to beat last season.
I wouldn't race in a windscreen-less car on wet.
You’re clearly not British

It's actually not that bad, especially when you get to the front, I have tear offs on the visor but didn't use them on this occasion.
Well done good viewing!
Can I ask are you using brake bias valve or less aggressive pads on rear, also are you running car flat or a degree of rake ? If you prefer not to answer i understand.
Thanks
Many thanks, yes most race Caterhams have brake bias, I usually knock it back a bit for the wet. With the CSR we have found that running flat works best some cars even run negative rake! This is only for the CSR though, it helps with traction but the top cars in Mag 7s have over 300bhp so might not apply to yours?
@@DrPittenstein thanks for that, interesting re the rake, my s3 is unsettled/fidgety under power after a recent set up with 20mm rake allegedly to sort understeer, think I’ll flatten it completely and retry.
Cheers
Deffo had some rake in my S3, also never had a prob with understeer, it was stable under power with 260bhp too so I’d get the geo checked if still having probs sounds like something isn’t right. Boss Racing will sort you out if in the South East, Team Leos if nearer Norfolk, DPR in Surrey top outfit too. Plenty of others of course but I can only recommend people I’ve worked with. Hope you get it sorted.
Alas 500 miles north of the action !
Nice if the gold arts ventured up country sometime 😂
All the best
@@mickeymouse7741 they were at Knock Hill in recent years and have raced Croft but furthest North this year was prob Oulton Park. We are going to Donington twice this year, big Caterham Anniversary weekend there in Sept, worth the trip down!
