Great shave Chris, nice razor, no nicks or weepers worked out well for you, no sign of the storm yet, just a little light breeze at the moment, said it was going to come in over night see what happens later but here in Llangollen we are sheltered by the mountains so I don’t think we will have it bad, I’ve seen worse in the past remember the snow storms and blizzards we used to get when we were children I think sometimes omg these people and our parents have seen worse than what we saw, you can go back to the 1940’s it was worse back them to what we have now, and what they get over in America and Asia what we get would be walk in the park to them 🤣 take care and have a great weekend and enjoy the meet up it is a shame I can’t be there it would of been nice to meet you all, I should of learned to drive when you get older you realise the person you were when I was younger and I think what a bell end 🤣 take care 😀👍
Hi Mark... Thanks mate it really was a nice shave. It's a great razor if you don't like a lot of blade feel. I know what you mean, we don't get it as half as bad as some places. But when it hit's us, we don't know how to cope with it because we aren't used to it anymore as the winters tend to be quite mild now. The first to storms weren't to bad here. But Franklin killed the power on Sunday and when we came back from work on Monday we had storm damage hence no video. Been cleaning everything up and fixing fencing. I'm sure there will be other meet up's mate now that we are getting back to some kind of normality. Have a great week mate. Stay smooth and stay safe ;-)

Thanks for your shave today Chris. I have this soap and splash and like you really love the scent. I brough Calm a year or so ago and agree that the newer soaps are certainly scented at a higher level. Shave this morning; 1792 soap and splash- a really lovely scent, the twig razor with a half Gillette blade and my Simpson T2 Brush. I always tend to use Aveeno as my moisturiser, it always works well for me. Have a great weekend and catch you on the next one.

Great shave. I have never heard of that razor before, but it sounds interesting to me based on how it looks and performs. I haven’t tried Lothur Grooming products, but they got some good products that I could try out in the future. Have a good one!

The work I had on for today thankfully got cancelled albeit without pay :( but at least I'm safe and warm :) Hope you got your day over quickly and safely. SOTD was a bit of a mix up need a change kind of thing... Proraso red, big floppy Omega 49, Gillette flare tip with a Dorco Titan. Alum and Nivea balm for afters :) Pleasant enough and good result.
Glad that you are safe and sound Dave. It got a bit hairy for about an hour and half but I batted through it without to many risk thankfully. Nice shave Dave, I haven't use my 49 for a while, it's a monster of a knot, lol. I like the Titan blades and you can't go wrong with Proraso Red, one of the best Sandalwood scents out there. Hi John. The Pils 101is average unique razor to have in the collection. The shaving angle is slightly different but once dialed in its a very smooth close shave. This one was on loan to me. The handle is very smooth. I would like to own one but would rush out to buy one. There are better razors out there. I suppose it all boils down to personal taste.👍
Excellent shave, that looked like one of your most efficient shaves. I love Løthur and have the matching splash. I’ve just ordered a chubby 2 synthetic in ruby red which should arrive next week, very excited. What do you think of the Chubby ?

@@CBShaves Aveeno is a good quality skin moisturiser. I suffer with mild rosacea and aveeno is one of the few moisturisers that keep it under control.
