Hii that’s awesome! Welcome to crochet!😘 and that’s lovely to hear thank you!🥰 Regarding your question, if you’re going to attach a keychain it depends a bit on what kind of keychain you’re using. I’m using a ring with a chain attached and with a small ring on the end of the chain. Then, I use pliers to open up this small ring and pull it through a stitch on the back of the bee. In case the keychain you would like to use does not have this chain with a small ring, you can also attach the keychain by sewing it onto your work: grab some yarn and with a needle you can connect a stitch on the back of the bee with the metal ring by sewing them together (go through the stitch, through the metal ring and repeat this) and then make a knot into the 2 yarn ends to secure it. Hii🩷, I’ve not tried the pattern with something other than a magic circle myself. But I think the chain 4 method could work here as well! For this you make a sl st, ch 4 and sl st into the first chain, this creates a loop in which you can do your first round, let me know if this works🥰❤️
