Great singing on the Elvis song Jimmy. Nice video. I was thinking of getting this guitar over the Monoprice, but there was only 1 available 5/24 so I missed out. They may have some in June.

I had an issue with the B string spacing on a Firefly Tele, but it was with the saddle which was not level, so the string had wandered to the lower side, a pretty easy fix by adjusting the set screw on that side 🤗. Enjoyed the tutorial, I don’t have any experience adjusting a neck like that, you make it seem within reach! Happy holidays Jimmy, i’ve enjoyed all the “Present-tations” this year!

I had a guitar (a model you own and reviewed) and I had that problem ... I thought ... and did that process. However the high E was still nearly off the fingerboard. It turned out ... (not kidding) ... the nut was cut wrong with the slots aligned too far to the treble side. So I had to pay a guy to make me a new bone nut and make the correct slots. I never knew that could happen ... but it did.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Jimmy! 🎅🎄What a lovely video! I’m curious though, doesn’t that misalignment of the neck indicate a loose fitting neck pocket? I’ve always thought that the best bolt-on necks were ones that fit snugly in the neck pocket. Regardless, it’s clearly fixable, and still a LOVELY looking guitar with a lovely looking silverburst finish-that really is a gorgeous and unusual color for a Tele… I still might just have to get a Tease guitar myself one day! I did however just get a new Firefly FFTL in transparent blue like my older Nashville FFTL. It was virtually PERFECT right out of the box, and very clearly better than my old FFTL in both specs and build quality. Benjamin and I are planning to post a video soon reviewing this guitar and comparing to the old one, showing how far Firefly has come! I thought about replacing the bridge with a flat one, but upon seeing and experiencing the stock “ashtray” bridge, I decided it was good enough… So the ONLY mod I might make to this guitar is to replace the stock saddles (which aren’t too bad, really) with some Japanese-made Gotoh inTune compensated saddles. (They’re FAR superior to the commonly found Wilkinson compensated design, IMO.) Anyway, I hope you’ll get to see my video when it comes out! (Hopefully I’ll be able to do mine before Christmas, too!)

Just got a Strat from Torsten. Everything seems ok with it. Neck n frets in good shape. Finish is spot on. Small trem block. I’ll get back after I open it up. Gonna rewire to full blend. Give a a review on interior electronics. Should have cts and cloth wire. I’ll get back tho on jack and switch. Plays good so far. Nice tone for stock pups Happy new year bro

I bought a Fender 2022 Thinline Tele last year and it was also off on the neck alignment (and intonation, bridge radius, and neck relief), but what do you expect for $2,100? Sent it back and replaced it with an aio/Wolf. Merry Christmas and thanks for "Teasing" us with the guitar!

Ĵimmy do you have a Fender Champ 12? And if you do, how does your Stage Right 15 compare to it?
Hi Ray….thanks for watching and commenting. No, I do not own a Fender Champ. A lot of people compare the two, but the Stage Right is really a Laney Cub 12 clone. Think British circuit (Vox/Marshal) rather than Fender. This also includes attenuation along with an Effects send/return which the Chanp does not have. Hope that helps a bit…🎸👍
Hey, Jimmy, do you get Frett buzz on the Low E stings on your firefly guitars. And any ideas on how to fix this?
Fret buzz anywhere could be a number of things depending on where it’s coming from. You stated on your Low E string…1st frets? Higher frets? Un fretted? Bridge? 1st thing I would do is CHANGE the strings…then after giving a good stretch to them…check your action again to see where it’s buzzing from. Could be as simple as the action is set to low on the low E string and you need to raise the bridge saddle a touch…could be you need a slight truss adjustment or the nut is cut to deep/shallow on the low E slot….but start with new strings…you can thank me later…😎
P.S. You didn’t specify which guitar you were referring to, but the remedy starts out the same…the factory strings need replacing 1st before you do a setup…
