Just the clutch slave cylinder indeed, they always fail on an SD1 after sitting for a couple of years. Easy fix, although the bleeding is a pain in the ass.

The spring in the clutch slave cylinder has broken and jammed the piston from moving

I'm stoked to see a new video on the Rover. It's too bad that old aluminum Buick engine was sabotaged by the factory after failing to appease the head gasket gods.
3 tools you need for working on British cars...
1- tow truck
2 - transit pass
3 - Satellite phone, since you will likely get stranded out of cell coverage

In Australia we only need 3 tools aswell. Duct tape, zip ties and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't use duct tape or a zip tie (for stronger applications) if it doesn't move but it should. Use the WD40 😂😂
God has it really been nearly a YEAR !!!!! Since last episode 😂, shame you may have to move the SD1 on but understandable with the to do list ever growing. At this rate your be at retirement age by the time you get it to the main road and off the lawn 😉. On to bigger and better projects James and well done for giving it a go. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Did you put the seals the right way in the rear wheel cylinders as they're tapered so large side in first, nice classic.
