JPEGULTRA is a great traditional hip hop record. The horns give it a classy sound mixed with both of them shit talking. And they both give great verses. The way peggy comes in over the strings is great. It also transitions well to the second half of the album where the production is more lowkey and traditional. It’s a good performance all around. It’s been a fan favorite
Nadia is the only one with a good take on this. Saying exmilitary is where the album fell off is crazy. Either on or off the drugs IS the best song. Slay Nadia. Correct in every way
The backround vocals for "either on or off the drugs" are actually from an AI cover of an old Future song. This guy will literally sample anything and make it sound good too lol
I think it's his best produced album. To me it feels like a spiritual successor to Veteran. Maybe not nearly as militant, but the aggression is there. There is a lot of paranoia, projection and self-analysis going on. I think it's more "mature" than his past work. I agree that it feels more like Cornballs than LP!
Ya you shouldn’t go into albums with preconceived notions cause you will be let down because it will never be what you had in your head before you listened. Especially with jpegs stuff.
It's hip hop over more traditional hip-hop tracks towards the end. You do get way more out of it if you listen to Hip Hop because you can catch the lyrics. The more you listen to hip-hop and you start to like rap because you can catch it while listening to it, the more you will like. He stepped up his delivery here because I really didn't like him before and I see growth as a Lyricist. He seems like he knows he's better as well.
Listening to this guy is a unique experience, I'll Be Right There took me to another dimension. album of the year easily. and... VAPO VAPO VAPO, FICA DE QUATRO NOIS BOTA SEM DÓ 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
yo u should react to one of denzels album melt my eyez see your future i feel like u would like it more than taboo or his new album King of the Mischievous South, Vol. 2 there both such amazing albums good as reactions though even though i think jpegultra is such a good as song but everyone has there opinions
I thought the same thing about JPEGULTRA the first few listens. Honestly it’s those Radiohead sounding strings at the end that just do it for me. Other than that I think this is Peggy’s best work since LP!
@@jasfx7241fr I don’t see how people aren’t hating on jihad joe more it’s so bland and average the best qualities of the song was done better in other songs on the album

Says Jpegultra is one note while it’s literally in the middle of a bridge break with some beautiful strings being introduced in the background 🤦♂️
Not liking JPEGULTRA is an insane take
The second half of the album is beautiful, Edwin is tripping.
I mean I’m a huge jpeg fan and it’s my least favorite track. It’s one of those repetitive horn beats inbtween Denzel talking about nothing.
@@yodaphobic96 that was the point

If the song didn’t have electric guitar in it they didn’t like it 😂
Disappointed by JPEGULTRA! what💀💀💀
Exactly to me it was the best song

I guess you don’t like like bombastic deliveries, production, and flow if you don’t like JPEGULTRA lol

COME TO BRAZIL!!! ❤❤❤❤
JPEGULTRA was one of my least favorites but still very good. It shows how good this album is
How is that your least favourite? 💀 ears? Problems? I get the music is subjective but that is just ridiculous
@@jasfx7241 there's 14 songs on the album. It is bottom 3-4 for me. Still an amazing song. Please calm down
