Great video, best Auxilia Sentinel video so far in my opinion and I've pretty much watched 'em all.
Thanks 😁👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
I want to be as good as you someday. I just bought some goblins from Age of Sigmar, and I had a blast painting them glin this style. Thanks for inspiring me to pick up the brush.
Awww dude thanks so so much!! Honestly its comments like this that make it all worth it! I never think of myself as a good painter, if anything i think im below average. But i do enjoy making and sharing my ideas!
Im sure your a fab painter! Im glad i inspired you to paint! But no matter how much advice i give, the best advice from me would be to just enjoy what it is your doing!!
You are the god of weathering
Awww thanks brother!!!
nice variation of weathering. good colours too. loved the video.
for lenses i sometimes finish with gloss vanish, it just adds that glow / reflection i feel. it also contrasts to the matte of the rest.
Thanks for sharing
Grimdark is the only way to go about painting any imperial hardware except Custodes sets.
These things are well used. They would not all be shiny, and painted as new stock from a factory.
Whatever chapter/legion I am doing the colour scheme in, I use their paint scheme underneith. But i remove so much of it due to battle wear, rust, and elemental deterioration that it just shows underneith all that...
I do same with all my astartes lower rank. Only when getting up towards captains or primarchs being pristine really makes those models pop on the table.
Excellent tutorial sir as ever 👌
Sounds awesome man! Thanks again
Perfect job mate, realistic and dark.. 👌. I use the pigment of coffee powder to make rust look like it’s really eaten metals.. never to much texturen with rust😎
Thank you! Cheers!
Honestly just using Tamiya x-20a thinner completely changes any paint for brush work or not…makes contrast paint flow well and Metallics ultra smooth
Great tip
I just love metals like this. Exquisite
Thanks bro
Great video, as always 🔥
Appreciate it!
This looks way too good ! Awesome job !
Thank you so much!!
That's a nice look you got out of that brown base coat! Really seems like I need to branch out from good old black every now and then.
Thanks for the tips on pigments, too! This one was just packed with all kinds of tricks. 🤯
Cheers bro
One of my new favourite ways to use pigment powders is to add them to the dirty down rust. Awesome way to build up real corroded texture! Got it from Vince venturella, real easy to use. Slab down some DD rust then add powders, of mix in the powders. Very fun to experiment with
Thanks for the tips 👌🏻👌🏻
@@TheFeralPainter my pleasure, really did like how it turned out on my undead weapons. Looks really old and gnarly!
Awesome as always.
I appreciated how the production its getting better.
Much appreciated!
Love your content and the production quality is just getting better and better. Awesome to see.
Much appreciated!
A good day when when a favorite artist posts a new video ^^
Hope you're doing well, and great work as always. Learning so much from your videos!
Thank you! Cheers!
Perfect weathering and rust. Looks soo good on vehicles.
Glad you like it!
That's cool.
If GW did a alternative packaging thing (like the Harry Potter child/adult editions for want of a better example 😅) with matt cardboard and your grimdark vibe for the box art I'd probably pick more bits and bobs up when I go in store for a look ( I'd happily pay a few quid extra to have a cool box)..
The cartooniness of the normal box art doesn't appeal to my 44 year old self that strongly.
Haha thanks man sounds cool
Bro this is knarly great work and very inspiring.. thank you
My pleasure
I like the painting it's really nice. Nice to see how well typical armor modeling techniques work with WH40K. The only thing I cant overlook is the gaps between each connected plastic :(
Yes i know hahah sorry for the gaps
I understand the temptation for getting to the painting ;) Just think how much better it will be if it's fixed. You can use glue that will melt a little the plastic and will limit the gaps if not remove them at all :) @@TheFeralPainter
🔥
Thanks
Nice job sir.
Many many thanks
OMG I can hear you! Fantastic work
No worries im investing in a new mic soon 👌🏻
@@TheFeralPainter Fantastic! I really like your videos, but even jacking all of my volume knobs up, it's still hard to make them out, which is a shame. I think the volume mix in this one was much better until the 7:00 -ish mark when it suddenly dips.
Love to see you improving so much with each video!
Very nice !!!!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
You are the man with the brush in hand bruv, air or standard......your texture and weathering game is in a league of its own. SERIOUSLY MATE, when is your FERAL BRUSH COLLECTION GONNA DROP ???? If you haven't used KIMERA's Kolinsky ARROW brush yet, it's a MUST HAVE for you my friend. What they've done is incredibly special and I haven't seen a brush like it anywhere else. Knowing what you bring to the table, the Kimera Arrow would only extend your far-reaching talent even further. Trust me. They have some beautiful paints as well. Very talented bunch of guys from Italy. Real renaissance men. Anyhow, cheers mate. Oh, and thank you once again.
Awww man!!! Too kind!!! Thanks for the words and i shall check the brushes out
you are such a deadly painter, are we able to get a grimdark angron in your style. You do grim dark so well im just having troubles making red daemons grim dark it would be nice to see what you would do. thanks
Maybe soon 👌🏻
Nice vid mate just finished a dreadnought myself looks good using a lot of ur techniques struggling with plasma weapon techniques though maybe another vid for another day lol
You literally guessed a video ive been filming today 😂😂😂 ive done 3 ways to paint plasma. Brush, dry brush (osl), and airbrush
@@TheFeralPainter lol perfect mate I've tried my own technique but just doesn't quite look right I do like the osl look but just haven't masterd it yet think I need to get some models and do some test works on
Love your videos, what gloss varnish do you use? Can you recommend a rattle can gloss varnish?
Yea gw have a gloss varnish
Looks awesome, want to get a bunch of solar aux to run in 40k. Any chance youll ever do a krieg video?
Absolutely its on my list 👌🏻👌🏻
Awesome content as always! Question: When working with pigments, is it better to apply them early on, when base coating or after washes and highlights? Awesome content again!!👍🏽👍🏽💯
I apply after. But u can apply when ever
@@TheFeralPainterthanks! Also thanks for the quick response!😊👍🏽
PAINT THE TANK!!!!!
Video coming this weekend
how have you not done any Krieg yet, wild
On my list haha
What do you add to those little Tamiya paints? Mineral Spirits?
No just thinned with there thinner. Its called x-20a i believe
Did you apply the varnish from a rattle can?
No airbrush. But can will work also
