She does have jigsaw puzzles and some lovely tote bags but Eriy's English is not good and she doesn't have a store for them. I really want a tote bag! I adore Eriy she is an amazing talent! Happy coloring x
As others have said this is the Chinese version. The Japanese version is the same as the English version in that the cover is removable and has the kraft cover underneath.
I love the illustrations in this book very much. I also like how you show us the differences between the Japanese version and the English Version. Thank you for that.
I actually think it may be slightly better with the binding :) Hope you are having fun with it! Mine was delay with Christmas mail :( So I ordered another one .....hoping for one to get to me quickly lol! Happy coloring x
Thank you for this comparison review! I watched a colorist making clouds on the Japanese version today, and then realized there is a difference in the coloring of my book and scouted out your video. I then located a Japanese book review, too. Both the Chinese and the Japanese are clearly white vs the creamier colored American version. But after all is said and done, I would prefer to read what is written. I just won't be able to make the clouds without some white enhancement on my part. I haven't started in them yet but the coloring of the lines in my version, which are a brownish color, throw me. I am not sure if I should be coloring on top of them or what. It's not like a black line where that, if you accidentally color on top of it, it can't be seen. If I color on top of this fair-brown line it will be noticeable, I would think. Guess I will figure it out once I start in it. Thanks again.
The English imprints of these books are fabulous and great value I am sure you will be happy with your purchase. If you are uncertain about how to tackle the projects I have a Pinterest board of colored pages from this book series here www.pinterest.com/queenofcoloring/romantic-country-coloring-book-finished-pages-eriy/ Happy coloring x Lea
Wonderful comparison! I just received the second book today and can't wait to start coloring in it! I was wondering though about the ink color. Is yours more of a gray color as well? I was assuming it's because of the toothpick and ink process, but I wanted to double check it wasn't just mine. Thanks for the video!
The ink color is a dull black/brown and, like you, I surmised it is because of the process that Eriy uses dipping with her toothpicks. It's a gorgeous book with such detail and imagination and that beautiful air of handcrafted about it. I
That's a hard one :) I would do everything to get all three and actually when I was super sick I actually crawled out of bed and went into the city to pick up 2 and 3. But if it had to be 1 then I just would get the first one. I can always add to it later with the next books in the series. Happy coloring x
I think you may be right as Yana has also identified that. I bought it from a Japanese bookstore but they also stock Chinese books as well. I've updated the description :) Thanks so much for letting me know x
Absolutely love this artist and the 3 books she created. Cannot wait to see what she comes up with next. Thanks for the review of both books.

I just ordered 1&2 English versions. I have been tossing up for months whether to or not so I finally did! Thanks for a great review.
How could you possibly resist RC for so long! :) It's one of my fave books - I just

I love these books I got the first one a few weeks ago. I really like that the english version has offwhite paper I prefer it over white
+ it is a nice change having a different color paper! Personally, I love the books no matter what they are printed on! I adore Eriy

I know there are three romantic country books, if you could only get one, which one would it be?

This is Chinese version, not Japanese. I was learning Japanese language some time ago. Thank you for review!!
thank you x I bought it from a Japanese bookstore but they also stock Chinese books as well. I've updated the description :) Thanks so much x
Umm.. I think that's Chinese Edition, it's written in chinese not Japanese. It's not the same from my Japanese one. I may be mistaken though. ☺
