Matt's face on the first one is pure serotonin. The sheer amount of "HOW DID YOU BRING THAT HERE WITHOUT ME NOTICING, ALSO JUST WHAT THE FUCK" written plain on his face is astounding. The defeat on his face the second time he does it is almost as good, just accepting this is now a regular bit.
Matt's initial reaction is the juiciest, but I absolutely love how Taliesin and Liam see it first, both go quiet, and then both begin dying of laughter at the same time. Some telepathic comedy connection right there

I pretty much only listen to the podcast but I know when I hear people start cackling out of nowhere and things go off the rails, it's always Sam's fault.
Robbies "It's just a simple home game..." after the first reveal, with Marisha laughing hard to it is wonderful. That's probably something they said to him to relieve his nerves before the game, then this shit happens hahahah
Something I didn't notice until rewatch: several times Marisha is trying to read the can as Sam goes to drink, so she tilts her head in synch with the drinking motion rather than wait for him to lower it.
Is no one going to point out how Travis has to allocate all his brain’s processing power to comprehend what he was seeing when Sam first brought out the can.
“We all got distracted CANDY!” There’s a reason why Ashley is known for playing teenage girls. On some level, she is 15 years old in an adult body, with the attention span of a goldfish.

My first thought seeing that thing was “Oh perfect, it’s a regular water bottle set into a prop, easily cleanable, maybe he won’t poison himself AGAIN.”

It would be entirely possible that Sam has a board of advisors that their whole purpose is to make ideas for either the designs for his shirts or what is on his gas can

He like completely could not continue the power of Sam's gas can was too much
Do you think Sam does these to make Marisha occupied enough so she doesn't hit him with her flailing hand of Liam's demise.
Why you think they not sitting near each other 😂😂🤔
And it's just a big ole barrier too!
You think she can't hit Liam at this distance? Man you are underestimating her so0o hard.
She'll accidentally throw stuff out of excitement instead
It's to save him from the pimp slap meant for Tal
matt's reaction to the first one is priceless
Agreed. It still makes me chuckle every time I see it.

Honestly, this whole video is why I think of Sam as Crit Role's version of Claptrap from Borderlands.
If Claptrap wasn't quite so annoying.
(I'm not dissing Claptrap)
@@EightThreeEight He's Claptrap, but infinitely more lovable.
He is what Claptrap thinks he is
Well... in this campaign he is playing a yellow one wheeled entity, so fitting comparison.
Pretty fitting that they literally described the prop as "something out of Borderlands" then. Some people just share brain cells.
Has anyone else noticed when he plays a "small" character he uses comedically oversized drink containers since he got that HUGE tankard in Campaign 1?
It's only a matter of time before Sam puts Matt's face on the flask.

Sam is developing a proficiency in drinking from large containers.

I love how the cast is starting to notice his canteens more than they did in campaign 2
"Im working with children" as a teacher I fully appreciate the gravity of this line
Reminds me of Justice League: Diana-Children...I work with children.
Next campaign sam is gonna play a warlock druid and have either a watering can, or a literal hose that shoots absinthe into his gullet.
Sam isn't allowed near trains, because of his predisposition to derail things 😂😂
I love that Laura sees the candy and immediately reaches out to grab some lmao

Definitely the plan! Thank you for the love 💞💞
The fact that Dorian and Marisha are the first to look and wonder what is on the front of the can as soon as he pulls it out get me

I love how you can pinpoint the exact moment when Matt locks his eyes onto Sam, sees him drinking from the gas tank, taking a moment to process it, then just losing his shit.
Sam's dedication to this bit is just mind blowing.
The slow recoil to hide behind his hands Tal does, coupled with Matt's just "OMFG REALLY SAM!?" reaction is the best
2:35 the immortal eldritch deity took a million points of psychic damage
Love the gas can. But half the time I can't read them. So I hope to see a full screen version of them one day.
Taliesin sounded like he was going to choke to death during the first one. 😂
Everyone sleeps on Laura’s reaction to the first one, it’s so much like disappointed but then excitement and curiosity it’s amazing!!!
Campaign 4 - Sam Riegel and his magnificent [insert your ideas].

Ashley immediately taking 2 pieces of candy.
Marisha straining up and around to see each one is gold
I think my favorite moment from these ones specifically is everyone's visceral reaction to the squeaking of the chalkboard at the same time.

Favorite part is Travis looking to see how Sam stored the gas can without them knowing.
