What level are you playing at? Also really well played you look like you should be playing at a higher level. You stand out.
this is us 3rd division
Mr.Snakes he plays for the Rochester Lancers which is a club in the National Premier Soccer League. It is one of the top Amateur leagues but not considered a professional league like the MLS.
Alvaro Beloso do you know who become elite is? If so Does he play in the second division ? And is the first division the MLS?
The MLS is the highest division in the US, it is a pro division. Then the second division is the USL and NASL, two different leagues, both are pro leagues, and they are both equal although the NASL is starting to go down and they only have like 8 teams left. And Become Elite plays in the USL. Then, the third division is the PDL, it is an amateur league, and a lot of its players move to play in the USL. The 4th division is the NPSL which 7mlc plays in, it is also an amateur league.
I also think he should play in a higher league, he is to good for the NPSL. Can easily play in the USL and move to the MLS.
well played, the only advice is that you may take a few shoots with your left footed because in the second clip the best option for me it's was to shoot rather than keep the ball and go all the way to the goal area

What age did you start taking the game serious? I am working with my son and I want to push him but also make sure not to burn him out or deter him from the fun of the game.

Nice shots and goal! Really enjoy your vids man! they help a lot. i'm in AZ right now, and am getting ready to try out for the the ASU FC team. I'm 24 and haven't really played competitively hard in my life, only high school and a summer select league before i was too old. Anyway that's me, my question is i find that i am clipping myself almost everytime i try a shot or cross. I know its all about foot placement and i've been trying to work on that but haven't really improved. You have any ideas?
Hi mate, thanks for the message! It sounds like your planting foot is too close to the ball. You want it close to improve accuracy, but if you are clipping heels then it's too close. Also your follow through might need to be straighter. After you have struck the ball try following through straighter, and then take it off to the side as your body wants it to. It's hard for me to correct your technique without seeing it but hopefully these tips help.
Yea that helped a bunch. i watch your vids and F2's, and others and see how close you guys are to the ball and i've been trying to replicate that recently, but because i have a history of clipping myself, my body, i guess, automatically makes an adjustment to my shooting foot, which results to my shooting foot coming out wide then in, instead of straight. So, i guess what i'm asking is how can i train myself to make good contact on the ball without being afraid of clipping myself?

Hey Michael, My question revolves around balancing gym and football, i work 9-5 which leaves me a very short time after work to train, i play on the wing and always prefer to train with a ball and work on my technical ability (using weaker foots, zig-zag drills etc) instead of going to the gym. I try and gym at least once a week (strength program). Is this sufficient? Will i lose my agilty/speed by going to the gym? As a winger what do you do in terms of balancing gym and ball work?
Hey Jarryd, thanks for the question mate. It really depends on what you are hoping to achieve at the gym. If you are looking to put on size/muscle mass, it can compromise your speed agility, although once a week shouldn't have too much of a negative effect. I only gym during the off season, but when I do it's 3 times a week with at least one day of rest between, and it's more functional compound exercises to maintain strength rather than lifting really heavy to gain mass.During the season I just do body weight workouts twice per week, which maintains strength and still allows me to be fast and agile. The other plus to bodyweight is that it can be done at the training pitch, so you can just do it at the end of your training.

Yesterday we had our soccer finals. I assisted the what should have been game winner, but our defense choked and let this guy that was twice my size score in stoppage time. Then it went into extra time and our goalie caught a ball, but apparently his feet were out of the box. They got a free kick and scored. I was pissed because they were leading for the first time after that goal. The problem for us was that we never lost, so we didn't know how to comeback.
Its all good Sai, these things happen man. The important thing is that you don't dwell on the result, and keep looking forward to the next opportunity. Football is a funny game sometimes.

I was always sub but i never was frustrated. I just focused on my improvement and controlled what i could.
That's all you can do my man, you can't control the coaches decision/opinion of you. All you can do is focus on the impact you can make when you're in the game.

Hi mate, can I ask you a question? I am doing GYM to get some muscle mass in my legs, 4 days per week but i need to improve my Physical resistance too for next season and i dont know how to do it without overtraining my legs and losing muscle mass. How can i do it? How can I combine them?? Thank you!
I'm not much of a weightlifter, I only really lift weights to strengthen skeletal muscles, not to put on mass. I would say give your body longer to recover so that you can lift heavier. Maybe take your gym sessions down to 3 days per week and give yourself a whole day of rest in between. This way your muscles will have time to rebuild stronger, and you can also push more weight to increase your muscles mass.

Why do you want to have muscle mass in your legs? You're not doing body building, you're playing Football...Leaner legs work more efficiently.

I did a complete a body workout for my fitness yesterday.I got my biceps,triceps, my thighs and my calves paining.It pains a lot when i touch any of these.I always feel tired in this situatuion..SHould i continue with my bodyweight training even in this situation?
What i did:
Lunges-30 reps - 2 sets
Squats-15 reps - 3 sets
Dumbels for my biceps - 30 reps -5 sets
Pushups- 5reps - 5 sets

7mlc I dont know why but my toes start paining after i do the agility drills. It acctually happens too often while i play soccer nowadays. I feel training it is important as I lack body balance when i run with the ball fast so i lose control over it sometimes. Do u know any ways to prevent this?
I'm not sure what is causing the pain in your toes, you might want to get that checked out. I'm gonna be releasing a body balance training session at some point too.
7mlc I got it checked.. I had turf toe it developed cuz i used to stand on tip toes of one leg without any support for a min thinking that would improve my body balance..thank god i stopped doing it or it cud have gone worse..

I think you need to chat to your doctor, is sounds like you could have a weak immune system. You might be deficient in a nutrient and may need to add something to your diet. I can't diagnose, but I would definitely recommend looking into that.
