Thank you very much, Cognito. I have struggled to understand the experiment of how rusting occurs but now I am fully capable of answering it on my exam!
Filled up a page and a bit with this info, thanks for helping me revise! (The page was 29.3 centimetres long and 21.2 centimetres wide, so it’s a big page!)
Hi, I was wondering what you used to make this video to see if it would be helpful for my personal revision. I just feel it would help me a lot in all my subjects.
I cannot stress how much of a great channel this is, told my whole class about this channel, easy to keep up with and honestly saved my chemistry marks. Thank you. @cognito
Thank you so much! But one of my doubts still persists, does alloying come under the barrier or sacrificial methods of protecting iron? But, thanks again!
Should I just paint the scratched area on my painted metal beam or something must be done before that? What will happen if you paint an already corroded area? What will happen if some moisture trap under the paint cover?
I have a question that in the video you said that oxidised mean losing electrons and reduce means gaining electron but I think it is opposite. Please verify me
But then why am I still getting rust spots after painting with zinc paint? If the zinc is sacrificing then I shouldn't have rust spot on scratched paint?
In the example with the nails in the test tubes, what keeps the nail from rusting in the first one with just water? Water is partially made up of oxygen, so what prevents the oxygen part of water (H2O) from creating rust?
can someone explain why the iron won’t rust even though is exposed to air when zinc is in contact with it? since is exposed to air, won’t part of the iron that is not coated with zinc rust?
basically, the oxygen wants to react with the most reactive thing that it can. in this situation, it has two choices which is the iron and the zinc. since the zinc is more reactive, the oxygen ignores the iron and is attracted to the zinc. hopefully that cleared it up a bit

You are a saint, there should be a “St. Cognito’s Day” every year, you make all of the info so concise and easy to understand thank you!
Ah thank you so much Ben, we're really glad you like the channel 😊
Lmaoo frr
@@Cognitoedu in cognito's name, we believe
you the the king of science. I love your explanation soooooooooooooooo much.
Thank yoooou Engi 🙌
these videos are really helpful - thanks

This is SO useful for taling care of our EXTREMELY expensive buhurt armor! Thank you!!!
The explanation in every one of your videos is so helpful. Thanks

I love the animation style! Thank you for helping us science newbies !!
very comprehensive and interesting!
this is so good omg!!!!!! Thank you so much for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay thanks Rayd, glad you enjoyed it 😊
Hi, I was wondering what you used to make this video to see if it would be helpful for my personal revision. I just feel it would help me a lot in all my subjects.
This is so enchanting 😌😥
Thank you brother 🙌
Wow super explanation bro....

Thanks, this is helping for my exam
is this it has our endless sumer finally come to an end🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
this is the best chanel for chemistry ever you help me with my finsl exam thank you
can you please tell me which app or software you use for creating these animation videos?

Thank you, very detailed and helpful!
Very instructive, thanks!

Thank you brother. I really enjoyed this video of yours from Papua New Guinea🇵🇬
I really grap your tutor thank you very much for such great explanation
If you don't mind please work on kinematics physics portion I really need that
i love u n ur vids❤️
great video
This topic was an absolute killer for me but I understand it soooooo much better after this amazing video
I can understand your topic I am from Pakistan 😊 Thanks a lot bro👍🏻💯
YOU ARE THE BEST I HATE CHEMISTRY BUT YOU HEAL ME😌😌
😂
good one good one very good one
My class teacher used 90 minutes to teach us what you teach in 6 minutes
5:28 so that why its called "galvanized square metal"
i helped me for my presentation for chemistry> thnx
Thanks
How does sea water affect rusting?
So helpful

idk
Thanks!
2:02 if no oxygen then how water can exist?
Nice
Should I just paint the scratched area on my painted metal beam or something must be done before that?
What will happen if you paint an already corroded area?
What will happen if some moisture trap under the paint cover?
How you make a animation of corrosion?
Can you please please download an A-level series 😍😍
Thank you so much
You here for next chemistry exam

He is right
But then why am I still getting rust spots after painting with zinc paint? If the zinc is sacrificing then I shouldn't have rust spot on scratched paint?
In the example with the nails in the test tubes, what keeps the nail from rusting in the first one with just water? Water is partially made up of oxygen, so what prevents the oxygen part of water (H2O) from creating rust?
they boil it which apparently removes oxygen
The water is boiled for removing any oxygen particle from it
And the oil layer prevent from any addition of new oxygen particles
Oxygen is chemicaly bonded to hydrogen and can noy simply react
What is coating

Why is zinc more reactive with oxygen? Asking for my project hehehe
