Yup, and we kept some of the good trees just got rid of most of the cedars and the heavy population of some trees that wouldn’t be healthy.

Now that you are starting to see warmer weather are you going to be building a tornado shelter to protect your family?
We have one in the plans for inside the garage. A 12x12 room based off the fema approved safe room plans. I’m not too worried about them here though and we can go to the neighbors house if we really need to for the time being.
I would have saved the larger cedars for fence post--last forever.
They would last a while but my perimeter fence has them and that is where I am having issues. Personally, I would rather stick to t posts for fence posts. Also, there is only so many hours in the day and with all I have going on, I don’t have time to be making fence posts.
The power company should have cleaned up a lot better.

Whats the dimension of the house itself? Ive been mulling about for a couple of months now doing their little custom kit builder. I've got 5 acres of completely cleared land and I was thinking if doing a 28x56x10.
The house portion is 64x40 and the garage is 40x32. Both are ten foot high. I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not I would do ten foot sidewalls or nine foot sides if I did it again. I think I won’t know for sure until we get it finished and can see.
