I used to ride with this one legged guy up at Stevens Pass who made his own prosthetic legs for walking. They looked high tech, especially back in the day before computers took over our lives. Though he lost his leg in a logging accident, man still did 80mph regularly on one ski. He was a guy worthy of idolization really. Worked as a cashier in the deli, lived in a trailer in Yodelin with his son.

Wow, that was truly enjoyable to watch!
The whole band was on fire, but Jerry really brought it!
It’s great being able to watch him having fun on stage like he was here. Dancing, ripping the guitar, playing off all the band members.
Man did I miss an era!

This is without a shadow of a doubt one of if not thee best deal's i have ever had the pleasure of seeing. It was well worth the trip to cairo to witness these shows.Everybody was waiting for these amazing setlists but to be perfectly honest that kind of setlist was not needed.Just listen to the energy that was on stage these 3 nights, and a complete lunar eclipse was the icing on the cake. What more could one ask for 3 nites, pyramids as the backdrop, the band in great spirits.ENOUGH SAID.peace

Part of the reason American music is as great as it is- is with no doubt- because of the influence of people originally brought here as slaves, against their will- much like the relationship of God and I which was never willing nor consentual. I believe God took a great deal from them, but also gave them these fantastic skills and superpowers in return. Its part of the power of rap too, to be born of pain and hardship. I'm not saying its ever equal or right or just, but there is often some outstandingly positive things God gives to you in return for so many negatives. The two sides are not separate- but connected!

I have to admit I'm a child of the 70s (like literally was a kid) and only heard this song for the first time at the end of a Billions episode last year. It BLEW my mind and this concert footage kills! I think my favorite thing about this is you can tell they LOVE playing this song. Seeing the bass player get into it at 1:27, then come back in at 2:40 to jam with Jerry, finally looking at the drummer who is rocking just makes me move man! I will FOREVER love this song now!

My Dad was also mercilessly teased as a child by his older brother, my Uncle Donald. He never did like him very much, and neither did I. I thought for a long time that I forgave my brother for teasing me, especially since he sorta grew out of it as we became teenagers and mainly drove me nuts trying to play heavy metal guitar for years on end without learning any chords or ever how to play, or even playing by ear. It was just wrong. But he almost grew out of that too and finally played and acoustic and figured out some chords. You almost can't tell what a horrific player he was for years, but he had a buddy who worked with him and now he has the internet.

After COVID hit the Seattleites all swarmed eastern Washington including the Icicle. Every trail head and campground was full with lines of cars illegally parked on the sides of the road for miles. There was a "shelter in place" order in effect, but everybody had the day off from work, and so where did they all go to? It killed the mountains and it killed me. All of a sudden trash was everywhere and every stream looking like it had soap suds. No place to even park down at the beach I used to swim at since I was a kid. To love something is one thing, but to lose it all to hoards of crowds, strangers, is another.

John is also the name of one of my first boyfriends, but it didn't last long. He asked me to go out with him, I said yes, this boy I swam everyday in the Columbia River with for months before. The next day he showed up with a crystal, from a chandelier, and played keep away. We weren't boyfriend - girlfriend after the game of "keep away" - now or then. Good mood killer really.

Yes you got the power of the gospel deep down in your soul. And what is The True Gospel you ask? The word of God itself. Once there was buffalo and a multitude of prairie plants and animals but as soon as that ship came up the river they unloaded guns and cattle. It was a massacre. "Every Indian without a horse or gun, or only with his bow and arrow is an idler; his time is a loss to us. We therefore lend him a gun and furnish him with ammunition free of charge. He commences hunting and realizes to us from $60 to $80 in skins that would have otherwise remained on the backs of animals." -Edwin Denig 1854 And that is how we all became traitors. The guns and ammo are free, everything else you have to pay for.

It's not like I haven't done any performing though musically. I was in a youth circus for a few years and was recruited for the circus through my band class at school. Played sax and trumpet. Started out on clarinet. Before the first day of class when I had initially chosen a clarinet to play, I couldn't even make a sound. I was so worried about it I cried, and my parents called up the band teacher, who said it was common and not to worry. Little did I know you had to soak the reed in your own spit before hand. I don't know why I played three instruments, yet I never understood jazz until much later, otherwise I might have just stuck with the clarinet. But I was always vying for first chair with any instrument and had some of the best band teachers in the world before coming to Leavenworth. Leavenworth just sucked the joy and pride out of music for me. Mrs. Drayer, a german oboe player who was grey haired yet dressed in mini skirts was the most horrible teacher ever. Couldn't teach music, couldn't make kids even march in a line, but apparently very concerned about looking sexy for 15 year olds. It just killed me. And we were playing music I'd played in 7th grade in high school, poorly. She also taught history and was a primary reason for me dropping out of high school. And I loved band and music, before her. But Bob always reminds me of the male equivalent of Mrs Drayer, the oboe player in black miniskirts.

Among the most sacred things God gave to us are the mountains and the snow. Have you ever really looked at a snowflake? Or saw and brown and grey world covered in almost an instant with shining brilliance and purity? The first winter I can remember and I woke up and saw snow, I thought we were all in heaven- since it was all white and everything had changed- until I ran downstairs and saw my mom who then explained what all this white stuff was and dressed me to go out and experience it. But there are prices to be paid, high, for white crystals adrenaline junkies also love, as well as children who love to make snow angels. High prices. Higher than the lift ticket, condo and rental car kind of price just to see a sacred snowflake fall again the way they used to.

I didn't help him, I didn't think he could be helped, and that is how I got here. Maybe someday you will be better than me too, not just God who obviously is unfair, unjust and hates women as well as most other human beings on one level or another and the planet.

To keep it all in one place makes it easier to eavesdrop on the entire conversation and/or steal. I expect the worst, not the best, but we have made this concession just to facilitate your comprehension and understanding. But I still expect the worst. Like jail and/or prison time. Even beyond my turning 21 doing life without parole with Mr. Super Sounds of the 70s.

People always want something, but you took it all without remorse or regret and left your victims crying for a roof over their heads and a hospital. Real winners. Who deserve heaven!!

Plowed under and trampled, cut down and paved over was God's creation by the same people who professed to love and praise it.

If its any consolation to you in that heat wave when I was wrongfully being denied housing and medical help and just screaming, I also was trying to get help from the WTU Burke Herbarium manager and kept writing and writing and writing to him. He never did say a word either or try to help, and then when I tried to go to the herbarium finally after years of corresponding, helping with the Washington State Flora Project, and donating 1,000's of photographs to the online collections, they wanted to charge me money to enter the Burke Museum and I could even get into the herbarium which was under construction at the time. I'd always been into the Indians of the NW and tried to visit the museum a time before, but they were under construction then too. It was easier for me to visit the UBC Museum of Anthropology in Canada multiple times than for me to visit there once. Western Washington really isn't my place. Otherwise I would have spent more than 1 semester at WWU- which I really hated BTW for a multiplicity of reasons including incompetent botany professors who misidentified my specimens as an undergraduate and almost failed my lab partner- a blonde haired girl who really cared and tried so hard!

Ain't no winning against haters like Bob, but its called putting up the good fight. Please tell my children that I love them and never meant to abandon them. I had no choice. Uncle Bob who molested me down by the river never gave me a choice. No CHOICE!! Thus it is, a life full if regret. And hopelessness.

But there is nothing more important than saving your own skin, and your own reputation and love from the masses for long after you are dead. After all you never touched a hair on her head. You only left her for dead.

My grandma from West Virginia drank Bloody Marys for breakfast. They said she died because of a heart attack, but really it was those Bloody Marys that gave her heart disease at an earlier age than later. Not every drunk dies of cirrosis of the liver like Barbeque Bob or Pigpen, or drunkenly falls off some scaffolding like my first grandpa on that side of the family.

Your horrible circumstances you put me in serve no one but evil itself. It is only bitterness and envy, rage and heartbreak that break into such cages and have free reign upon their occupants along with the warden itself whom we call "Crazy".

Thank you again in this time of national crisis for building more luxury apartments- mainly built by some migrants like Mexicans probably who had to occupy lower income housing nearby, thereby reducing the amount available and raising the rents. That sure is helping us all!

Too bad you couldn't give peace a chance. You must love war as all men do. More than love and life itself is the camaraderie of a soldier.

Isn't it amazing? I'm finally as old as you old dudes were when I met you! And Jerry and Vince stared at me and stalked me. Shouldn't be long now until something finally happens- especially with that joker in the deck coming up too. Nothing like gambling with the devil, but when its like the longest game of golf, or baseball EVER, we'll all just be glad when its over no matter what the outcome is.

But you want to see somewhere where Gratefulness is not Dead? Peru. That is what the Shining Path was all about and they are very grateful their children finally have public schools to attend. They all wear their uniforms, so proud. And their broad brimmed hats that they also give out to keep them from getting skin cancer though no American kid unless they were a nerd would be caught dead in them. VIVA PERU!!

Its pretty bad when you got to go to an elementary school to report being bullied at my age, but that's what kind if kind you are!! Especially to me. Yesterday there was a huge group of kids all picking up rocks before they got to my house- same boys who threw them before, but when they saw me filming them the ringleader who knocks and kicks at my door ran. He's sure a good runner. He must love getting his exercise.

There is also another John I knew from my classes. He was the biggest and tallest kid, but when we were on a hike to summit Dirty Face before sunrise, out of all the hikers- mainly girls from the Camp Zanika summer camp- he was the one who started feeling sick and "altitude sickness" and because of him we hiked for miles in the darkness for nothing.

Where is my house, my country just for me and my kind who hear God? Yet I don't even get a church to go to. All these churches, but not one believes in God talking to all people (some are just more aware that others and sentient, mindful) and creating all.

I woke up with my hip hurting after pushing around my new friend in a wheelchair, then couldn't even keep my eyes open to drive to the pow wow that Saturday night, and didn't want to cripple the guy twice. Saw him today and he thought it was just yesterday that pow wow moment happened, and this women he was with thought it was already Saturday. Whew.
And yes his fam is already hooked up to the internet and wifi though hewas asking me for help the week before. Going to the river tomorrow with the guy and picking him up in my van. Hopefully he has weed. And the weather don't become like Montana, like right now.

But hey, look at you! This has been one hell of a fact finding mission. Found out lots. About you! And who you really are. Very informative I really never would have thought it. And I always gave you the benefit of the doubt. That certainly was not smart of me.
