- I carved Loki mask inspired from 1994 movie The Mask with Jim Carrey in the lead role.
For this project I used piece of walnut wood, wood carving chisels, jigsaw, router, sand paper and green wood stain.

I know it would be a big project, but I, and many, others would love to see you create Legate Lanius' mask. Whether you do or don't is clearly up to you, but would be a great challenge.

Majora’s Mask? Might be a nice idea
Good stuff man! I have carved plaques for friends using a dremel before but I'm about to get my hands on a 12 peice set of pfiel chisels and get to work on some cool stuff. I hope to carve things that are even close to this someday

@@billastell3753 honestly I don't like the dremel. It walks and digs and burns... granted I havent used it much and it's not necessarily the best unit for carving, but I'm all about slowing down and being precise with a hand tool

Amazing work, dude! Ive always wanted an actual wooden loki mask. Would you be able to make a round brown version like the cartoon?
It's a great piece and very hard to do it correctly. I tried once, when I was little, but didn't finish it, so I tried to do a few from clay (and they were destroyed by the end of the day), until I got to do a whole loki mask at 13. What I wish he did a model after the original mask, cause this is a print of the more popular, fake and deformed version + I'd use professional paintings such as acrylic and never-ever use raw green, it doesn't look good and doesn't give much more defined texture to this awsome piece. I'd suggest adding (especially) burned and natural shadow (and not black), too little white and crimson to add accents to the greens and shadows and voilà❗❗❗(that's something that he always can do)

Thanks! I use sweep chisel, V chisel and flat mostly. Stubai Austria is a good brand of chisels.

I was inspired to carve a Loki mask after watching your video keep up the good work and I’ll keep watching.👍 if you get a chance check out the dragon eye I carved out of Blood wood on my channel just keep in mind the videos are for memory they’re not UA-camr quality I wish I made a video of the mask to show you
