Although I haven’t appeared the NSSB exam, this short interview brought relief and good laughter. This is not to judge the interviewees who were put in a spot at that moment however, as someone who has been through the exam process for sometime, the standard of preparation that our people (most people) put in for any kind of exam is discouraging. Competitive exams are not for everyone and having to waste months and years on lukewarm preparation can drag us down in life. Dear Parents, if you are reading this, you know your children well. encourage them in sectors that they are good at. We have to stop putting our children to exams just because of the name or fame or a secured govt job. Students, know your passion. And before you venture into this exam process, ask yourself a big question as to why you want to join the govt services? If you are unsure of your capabilities or passion, give it 2-3 attempts max. If you do not clear the preliminary stage by then, move on. If you do clear it, consider it a right direction you are heading to. This is not to discourage but rather encourage the youths to take up work or services of their choice and excelling in it. Godspeed!

out of appeox 50k candidates, some 30k is just students applying for it bc others are applying it n the remaining educated unemployed youths applying without n prpper prep...only few hav prepared well..soo the competition of this exam is comparatively less.
With all due respect to the face of Nagaland Media, The Hornbill Tv. It's my ardent request to please keep aside making a memes of people this way. Irrespective of whether it was intentional or not, what will this people do as they go back home and see their faces on people's status, being portrayed as ignorant and illiterate. Or atleast keep their identity secure by blurring it.

See by interviewing the scholars,the state gets to know the level of education that their students are getting and if you rethink about this session carefully, there's nothing to be ashamed of.
Why do you talk about students being portrayed as ignorant and illiterate by hornbills tv? First and foremost,they are interviewing the "students"not farmers. Their parents are sacrificing alot for their educational fees and yet there are still children who cares less about these sacrifices and just study for the sake of getting a degree. Matter of fact,by interviewing them,we get to know alot of useless information and thus, I'd like to request you to limit your beliefs within yourself.

Firstly, kudos to Hornbill TV and its Team for reaching out to the aspirants.
But hey, why are we trying to use the people for raising TRP? I am sure, a lot of aspirants they interviewed gave the correct answers to their questions. It is unfair to victimize people just because they failed to respond properly to an interview that came out of the blues.
Appearing in front of the camera is not everybody's cup of tea. When you are tensed and mentally busy on something else, display of composure can be difficult.
Victimizing people through all these are a matter of concern because it contradicts with the art of professionalism.
I really hope, Hornbill TV and its Team would look into the matter in the near future.

I hope the news channel takes ownership when some clips from this video is made into memes and these individuals are trolled in the internet.
Chances of people going into depression when they are trolled or made into a meme are very high.
Pls no hurt feelings 👏🙏,but according to media questions, one sad part is appearing NSSB exam but don't know the full form of NSSB, present governor of Nagaland and how many letters in alphabet. But that might be due to exam pressure/nervousness, I really appreciate or salute to all the deserving candidates/aspirants who gave their best.

We respect Hornbill TV for providing us with all round news but here..could've atleast blurred the face..I hope you guys feel for those people who could not answer your questions. I wonder how embarrassed they must be now..and not only themselves but their friends, families, society watching. Everyone has the right to privacy in all spheres! There might be candidates already embarrassed by their performance in their exam today and why there is a need to drag them by reigniting more fuel to the fire by exposing them? many are not regular in appearing exams, some applied for this exam with the little hope in them to give it a shot. Not everyone have the same preparations, be it basics or difficult questions. Please, we need to be more conscious of others feelings too! ( remember they are not criminals that they should be expose at the cost of other's laughter ).

Truer note....faces should be blurred. if we're interviewed all of a sudden we'd be nervous for sure. We might not able to reponse/answered correctly even if we might know the answer. We all have different character and personalites. Some are smart of course and some are socially awkward so introverts or socially awkward people like me i felt sorry for them. Positively if one's accepted as challenges they'll do even greater but if other's taken into negativity they'll face embarrassment and discouragement. Can break someone.

Who knows It might affect the younger generations studying on different mediums and streams. English as our medium is hard to learn for our tribal people, we learn to become someone. Whether it's nervous in front of the camera or not how on earth can't they answer the full form of NSSB?? This is the reason why quality education is important in our state. Acquiring a name sake graduate certificate and don't want to work like non locals which is in fact creating more unemployed youths in Nagaland.

Comparing to olden days, students are now only studying for marks not for their knowledge to utilise in life.

And comparing to olden days the present contents are more vast and harder since they've added more ...And about the students studying only for marks what do you mean by that? are you ignorant or something after our class 10 what do the schools and institutes ask? for us to be selected ? Obviously Our grade and marks which must be good so that's why they study for marks which will be useful only in some few cases after our graduation...... students are made to memorize and get good grades since class A to 10 or even 11-12 and due to that students don't try to understand and starts memorizing during exams which they will forget after 1-2 weeks basically so what do you expect from that kind of education system?? blame the education system not the students

NSSB is unorganised, today many candidates got late because of traffic jam. There should be an option to choose area of examination centre, which would have reduced the rush hour.

I don't want to take it in a negative lens but i do feel like this is an advertisement strategy of Hornbill Tv at the cost of exam candidates. Surely it has already become a meme and is trending in various social media sites, especially in whatsApp. Taking interview is good but asking exam based questions, be it the easiest or toughest, was unnecessary. I feel sorry for fellow brothers and sisters who couldn't answer because this videos will surely reach their families/friends and we all know the reactions.

Wasn't there a notification allowing students with discrepancies in their admit card (i.e., no photos, signatures, etc) to sit for their exams...
The question was very basic and easy.
May be the logic was to let people clear with almost equal marks.. And the deciding result will be done by skill test and interview.

One should abstain from Asking questions on current Events, and General knowledge to aspiring candidates....shaming and exposing them to public domain is not encouraging at all... learn something from Global window, professionalism is well maintained by them....
Why though? Tbh the reporters did a good job as this exposes the reality! For how long are we gonna excuse this kind of casual behavior of the youths! I am guessing through this at least some sense was knocked into the heads of some of the youths. Things won't change if we keep on looking at everything as something negative.
This would not have been something embarrassing or shameful if the candidates were knowledgeable as the questions were not even hard AT ALL!
@@svtreasure-qw2ny the aspirants are not accountable to answer to the media..... more or less preparation is upto them, it's of their personal choice...press and media has certain rights and limitations, it doesn't give them a complete liberty to post anything they wish, unless they expose anything related to Govt. Officials who holds accountability are the ones who is answerable....consent is required to post for a private persons... just imagine, what must be running through the minds of this poor aspirants to have been exposed in such a manner! It may demotivate them to even move out of home to see their own video... be practical, be on their shoes...I'm saying this because I'm a legal person who also deals with psychology who foresees the consequences...

Honestly hornbill should decide if they truly want to pursue journalism or just goof around like some chapris in youtube channel for views. I get it, cracking a light joke in the heat of the moment always steal the show. But to the expense of exposing people's innocence for views is just unprofessional. I guess the manager of the TV is a 13 year old kid with a tik tok account.
This is very unprofessional on the part of the news channel. They should have at least blurred the face of the candidates if they intend to telecast it as they clearly know that people will surely make fun of them. People should stop mocking them as not everyone is comfortable infront of camera.

Hornbill TV.. Have the courtesy to request for permission before you interview, that's basic common senses in your field.. Plus they have the right to privacy don't just go upload what you want without their approval.. Most of them were embarrassed and am sure they didn't want their face to be publicized.. I respect journalism but not at the cost of infringing the rights of others.
If someone accepts your request to be in your video and said something embarrassing, I feel you should not use that video or atleast blur their faces. Also, sudden on the spot videography can make people nervous and say random words especially if they were not interested to give interview in the first place
Please please dont ask the question in the report instead ask the question like how is the question paper not like who is the present governor of nagaland. 😡😏😒This is totally unprofessional on the part of the reporters. They just came to shame the examiners. Are they really trained to be a reporter? They don't even do the formalities of asking/requesting for interviews and directly starts their oral exams. Thwii, question papers were easier than your questions. Hornbill TV te etu bura aro buri duijon he ase naki ho? Eneka time te toh experienced and professionals ke he pathabo lagey na terika. Not at all funny. Tumi duijon reporters toh aram kuribi olop din. Not everyone is exposed to cameras like you, you could've atleast blur their faces or ask them whether they want it that way. Lmao! The audacity to say 'a mere reporter'! It's obvious they are a lot smarter than our aspirants. Why are you even trying to justify the ignorance of the candidates? Wdym by studying the important ones and not the basics! Even if you crack an exam, what kind of knowledge do you even posses if you do not know the answer to these basic questions? And how does one skip to more complex questions without knowing his/her basics. Won't it be extremely shameful if someone who cracked upsc or npsc does not know the full form of the said exam or does not know the number of alphabets in the English language? These are not hard questions! Anyone of them should've easily answered! Then maybe it would not have been embarrassing.
