The fuel pump bit at the begining is a good demo as to why we should use check lists. I imagine in future training he will get more of the "If you have and engine fire what do you do?", "If you have fumes in the cockpit what do you do?" type learning. I love his having fun flying and correcting himself (makings of a good pilot).
Only just discovered your channel and I’m sure I will glean some good learning points from these videos. I learnt in a Jabiru 160, a great experience. I remember once flaring a bit high on return from a 2 hour nav with my instructor and dropping a wing, my instructor kicked in rudder and saved the landing. I remember it happening so fast and not knowing how to react, I said to him, what happened? He explained it all to me and drove the point home. Those things stick in your mind and help shape you into a pilot.
