Hollywood also put Atlanta on the map 🗺 Atlanta is the Hollywood of the south what about 96 Olympics that also put Atlanta on the map the city flourished after the olympics although it was disorganized
Yep, those were the days when people got their news from television, especially CABLE television. CNN Headline News (then CNN2) was of course a half hour network newscast aired every half hour, which was ready when people were, even at mealtimes (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Today, getting news from television is not the case anymore. What with streaming becoming for popular than cable and broadcast television. Not to mention more people getting their news from the internet. I wonder how CNN is keeping up with the state-of-the-art technology and trends.
A trailblazer who doesn't get discussed enough
This is a rare and interesting piece on Turner.

Ted Turner was so Charismatic.
I liked him!
Thanks for sharing, I find him very interesting.
A movie needs to be made about him. Or The man from Atlanta
I found out about him because of WCW, he is definitely different from the conventional business man
He owned WCW.
Yes and also he has those commercials about him in mid 90's
Excellent profile. Interesting to get the background to Turner's first tv creation, WTBS, too.
Did you have any affiliation with Ted back in the day?

Ted hated Dallas so much but ended up rerunning it on TNT 10 years later
Why he also hated dukes of hazzards
Thumbs Up!

They recorgnized in 70's 80's 90's abd somewhat the 60,s even in the 2000's
Ted turner also owned racetracks
Damn them court side seats looked uncomfortable back then
Interesting for a BBC British commentary on an american

Billionaire Ted!
18.40. The station is accused of hiring people straight out off college. They are young and inexperienced. Well they would be.
Well they need to start somewhere
Holy shit #54 has grey hair, no wonder the Hawks sucked so bad back then.
He had a flat and curved screen TV set in the 80s!
Did they mention he had wcw in the 1990's
Does he have an autobiography he needs a movie about him
Ted turners got like buffalo bill burger joint in Montana
