My regret as well is to get married in my 20s . I didnt know better. But I now know better and God is making things beautiful for me again.. I am starting life again in my 30s after a divorce with 3 beautiful children. My case was more of emotional, mental abuse coupled with neglect carrying the entire family's burden and reached a point of no return where I broke down completely. Still recovering but I thank God for how far He is brought me. Thank you Jesus. I know I will find love again and experience the life God has always wanted for me.

    Hello Lynn,
I've been a consistent listener of your videos, and I've noticed the recurring theme of gratitude when you say, “I do not take this for granted.” It's a powerful expression that resonates with your audience. I wanted to offer a few alternative variations that you might find useful in conveying a similar sentiment:
    1. “I truly appreciate this.”
    2. “I don't take this lightly.”
    3. “I am grateful for this opportunity.”
    4. “I value every moment.”
These variations could add a touch of diversity to your message while maintaining the essence of gratitude that you consistently convey. Keep up the fantastic work!
    Best regards,
    Bernard

I am a victim of that, I married at 29, it didn't work out. I had to first take care of my two children and was delayed to find love again....
At 50 now, it's when I am open for love again Imagine!!!😂😂

I want to attest to the fact that how old you are when you get married isn't usually the problem. So please give yourself some grace.
I got married in my early 30's but it still failed. The person you get married to makes all the difference. Alcoholism complicates things even more. Thats what ended my marriage.

Walking out should be normalized, it should be a national sensitization campaign. Right now, we are dealing with this as my cousin spent this Christmas in a coma in ICU, and is currently cold in the morgue due to spouse battery. This matter is very infuriating knowing that the perpetrator is still freeee and her young kids have to reconcile with the trauma of being witnesses to this evil and additionally grow up without a mother just like that!!😢😓

I went through depression, neglect, abuse, thinking things will change for more than a decade....I wish walked out immediately I saw red flags, in their family I was blanded Mkikuyu, and bad woman, I lost everything in my life. It is a very inspiring story.

This happened to me too. I got married simply because I was pregnant with his child. I didn't realize he was an alcoholic until we moved in together 😢. It was a living hell, I didn't know how irrational, irresponsible and demeaning alcoholics can be. I carried the entire load but when I decided to leave, everyone, including his family and mine were pressuring me to stay. They were more concerned about him than me and my daughter. They assumed I would be okay since I had a good job, but they didn't take into account the suffering I had endured for 7 years. That relationship traumatized me so much, I've not dated for years and I never want to remarry.

I'm really happy that she's brought up the issue of parental expectations for their children to take care of them. Please, let's not put that pressure on them. Kid's here in America are working endlessly to take care of their parents instead of focusing on education to secure their future. I remember my mom telling me and my siblings that they didn't want or expect anything from us. That took a lot of pressure off us. Eventually we all went onto successful careers and businesses and when mom got sick, we took care of her selflessly. She had money but we didn't want her to spend it on Healthcare. Please let's learn to let our kids build themselves up without too much pressure and obligation

People don't say private matters.mostly it's them having someone else on the side leading to sexual deprivation or effects of that, abusive words, neglect, using you financially, economically and draining you. They don't give back but drain you in all ways bcoz the goal is a good name in society but not you

My mother questioned my marriage even before I wedded. She was so dusturbed that I would suffer in that marriage. I ignored her fears and assured her that we are fine together.
Less than one year into it, hell broke loose and I'm still there for 12 years with 4 kids. Suffering from inside is my daily dose, regrets of not moving out early enough strikes me often.
