Hiya V! Not quite as rustic as we remember 😉, with the construction work. The Halloween decorations were a nice touch again. I was struck again by the really great setup at Fort Wilderness with regard to the pool and facilities. I’m no camper but I could try this place 😊. It has the best atmosphere (okay, the singing pumpkins were a bit much 😊) Great sunset boat ride, very informative too 😊. Enjoyed this one very much!
Hi there Mike! 😃 Yes, it is definitely looking different. 😢 I don’t think they look horrible, it just changes the vibe. I hope the sense of laid back community stays because that is one of the best things about FW. I’m not one for camping much either but staying in a motor home is fun if you are in the right place and I really want to stay at Fort Wilderness. You are right about the amenities, you have everything you need right there plus you are just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom loop. Speaking of, I really appreciated the cast member on the way back to the Contemporary, the ride was as informative as it was gorgeous!

@@rockfordjj22 Oh how fun! I’m kind of jealous, every time I walk through Fort Wilderness I go home saying that we need to camp out there! Every resort has its own vibe, it’s what makes walking on property so fascinating to me and the FW vibe is the chillest and friendliest by far. There is more of a sense of community… plus there’s dogs everywhere and half the time I go I see deer. What’s not to love?
