Man, the movement in Halo 5 was so good. The thrusters and slam were just fun - and not limited use!
5 in general was fun as hell. Bring back warzone please

Even though H5 was probably my least favorite game in the series, I thought the speedrun was really good. The movement tech really shines here.

halo 5 had good moment to moment gunplay, just didn’t follow the classic halo formula. i’d take a spartan locke spin-off with halo 5-esque mechanics though. but chief’s gameplay needs to be a little clunkier and heavier

The Halo 5 campign for me is the only good thing about it and that is pushing it. I personally wouldn't recommend anyone to buy halo 5 just for the campign though. Better off watching a recap about the Campign itself or seeing a playthrough of it to get the lore. I don't hate the new characters enough to want them dead I just wish they were better utilized and showed a bit more personality. I get that Locke once worked with ONI, but when your secondary protagonist has even less personality then the Master Chief who is, let's be honest, best described up until now as a "by the book, man of few words who's personality can be best discribed as a brick, but in a good way" then clearly something needs to be done about them.
Yeah. Chief is a brick, but for a brick he flew pretty good. Locke just... idk. He feels mad corny in comparison. I just don't recall Locke ever delivering a bomb back to the covenant like manually flying it out of the Cairo through a combat zone _in_ _space_ then _detonating_ it once he reached their supercarrier, is all.
i wish they just made infinites multiplayer the same as 4 or 5 or even reach’s
You know what? I'm glad a lot of people love Halo 5.
Personally I prefer my Halo games to play like actual Halo games, but good for them.

If it's good enough to speed run then it doesn't matter what the overall story is. Hopefully you can enjoy the run for what it is even if you don't particularly like the game. I hated reach but I'd still watch a speed run of it c:
