Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Boss: Demon Lord Ghirahim [HD]
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 вер 2024
- Battle begins at 2:56.
He is the boss of Skyview Temple and also the first boss in the game. Once you force him to draw out his sword, the battle is a breeze.
I like how he threw the sword the first time and picked it up before you could snag it back. 😂
XD
I do that alot
I replayed it like 5 times lol
Snatched lol
He almost did that with me lol
I'm surprised Ghirahim isn't a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. I mean, look at all this potential for a moveset.
+NeighborlyBLTIS Good idea, actually. :0
***** I think it'd be more likely to be a final smash but your idea would fit nicely as a special move I think. :)
M. Nourishad He's an assist trophy, though
The Sweet Side But it's not the same.
M. Nourishad I want him to be in super smash bros brawl, I found a way to hack but my bro doesn't aloud me because it's too dangerous
Giriham: First character in the series to parry you with two fingers and then take your sword from you like your full-force swings aren't shit. XD
Ghirahim: the perfect definition of narcissistic personality disorder.
alexiaNBC And Zamasu
That makes me feel nice
And anger issues too
@@christianeddlemon2159 Oh hello, fellow Lord Ghirahim
Donnie Trump Jr.
The sound when you hit him is just the most satisfying sound effect in any video game I've ever played. I love it.
Who else immediately tried to launch the Beetle at him and then got scared when it had no effect?
Me
Me!
me
bro i was like tf why it go through your head for
Fuckin yes....I thought I was alone lol
There's something so terrifying about the fact that he kind of calmly approaches you... It's honestly scarier than if he were to run at you.
Also, Ghirahim is the best, and very fabulous.
2:06 is my reaction when my package contains bubble wraps that are difficult to pop.
TheHRchannel lol true also me.😂
3:27 the way that he just laughs and casually picks up your sword right before you get it just goes to show how little he takes you seriously. It’s just a game to him.
It’s just a game to me too 🥸
I mean if you wanna get technical it’s a game to us too 😆 seriously though you have a point, he’s legit toying with link in the first battle
I love when antagonists have good character development like this. He is introduced as a badass and barley shows signs of weakness.
and he doesn't do any childish tantrums.........I'm looking at you zant!
Darth Infernus no tantrums ? Lol did you play the game ?
Greson Soyle
IKR? He had a lot of tantrums in the game.
sadly,, except when you fight him, you realise he's easier than 1 of Breath bokoblins (that can deal 3 hearts damage at the start btw),, very annoying
netweed09 No ?
For a first boss he was bloody hard!! One of the hardest bosses in the Zelda series. Definitely up there with Gyorg in Majoras Mask.
He was supposed to be a Wake-up Call Boss. Basically, he was there to kinda teach the player that recklessly swinging their sword wouldn't get them very far.
Nah m8 Gyorg is dirt cheap if you know how to use Zoras electric shield. With out using that yes hes though as hell
lol, what?? Maybe it's your motion-control setting but really, try Breath where a blue bokoblin at the start of the game can deal you 3 hts damage??!?! this guy sadly was undermined by the makers,,,
netweed09 Lol! The first time I died was when a blue Bokoblin climbed up a hill and hit me from behind. Now though, I hunt Silver Lynels for fun.
@@netweed09 breath of the wild just parry, in this game, enemies can telegraph where you are about to hit next depending on what angle you have your sword at, this game is honestly harder than botw, not because of difficulty but the massive learning curve and distinctive combat system it has
Nintendo pulled a "shit just got real" on me when I was first introduced to Ghirahim. He disturbed the shit out of me, and defeated me 3 times. It wasn't until a week later that I knew how to get him.
MAN do they know how to violate personal bubbles.
how do you attack him??
@@niyax5885 you have the swing your sword in the opposite direction to where his hand or sword is
Well yeah, the rest of the Zelda villains are just like "I WANT MOAR POWAAAAAH!" and Ghirahim is like "Screw yourself and die", And Ghirahim has more villain facts, He can be Gentlemanly, Taking fights as a game "except final" but he can be a total psycopath and evil villain... It makes him FABULOUS!
Okay you know a boss is badass when he stops in the middle of the battle and says he's bored and has more important things to do.
I wonder how Fi felt when Ghirahim grabbed her, considering she is the sword.
Z Plosion Triggered
He probably would've tried to grab her watery ass if she exited the sword.... although thinking about it, him holding the bottom section of the sword might be kinda like that. But to be fair, so was link.... O.o
@@UBvtuber soo link hold fi from all this time? cool!
😏
A sword grabbing a sword...
Everyone is talking about how much he should be in smash, but I feel like no talks about how he is literally the most fashionable villain of all of them.
LOL, the first time I fought him he stole my sword, too.
Link: "Dude, can I have my sword back?"
Ghirahim: "Oh, sure. Here you go!" *throws it and it hits Link*
Link: "Ow...Thanks."
Ghirahim, Lord of personal space invasion.
Ghirahim: Which is why I promise up front not to murder you.
Me at the Game over screen: Ya so that was a fucking lie
Wow. He disarms you and throws your sword at you, allowing you to get back your weapon. Genius.
7:02 the exact same place is found in Breath of the Wild!
Holy crap, your right! Good eye!
The Skyview spring is actually the spring of courage in Faron Woods. It’s weird that the spring of power in Eldin looks more like it, but based on the locations the one in Eldin is the Earth spring.
Watching my brother play this game
I'm like, no no no! Keep backking upp. I like watching him strut.
1:34: That's where the english "translation" becomes a bit inappropiate. I can't understand why Link draws his sword just because Ghirahim says "But I'm not fussy". Okay, you might think it's because he teases him by telling that Link have to call him Lord, but if you look at the original japanese Version (I don't know it, but the german is as far as I know a direct translation) he says (in german): "Merk dir meinen Namen, es wird der letzte sein den du hörst...", means: "Remember my name, it will be the last you'll hear..." It's just logical that Link draws bis sword after THAT xD
But I Must say that I, besides of that, like the english dialouge of Ghirahim better. Just as an example,
SPOILER
When eh captures Zelda, his first line in english is: (We all know it xD)
In german he says: "Du törichter Narr! (You foolish fool)" (Gee, I can imagine him in japanese, totally badass: "BAKA BAKASHI!" xD I know, that means how stupid or something, but... Just imagine it! XD)
Well, my Opinion. Fazit:
GHIRAHIM, I LOVE YAA!
I think that Link drew his sword not because Ghirahim said "But I'm not fussy.", but because of what he said before that.
Ghirahim had already said he was the one who made the tornado and that he was chasing Zelda, so naturally, Link knew that they were enemies and drew his sword when he decided that he didn't need to hear anything else from the demon lord.
@@warrioroflight6872yeah I'd probably draw my sword if someone told me they were a demon lord
Ja die englische übersetzung war in skyward sword nicht gerade der hammer.
Wow, that is very detailed! Thanks for sharing!
Can we agree that at the time, he was the most interesting character of skyward sword? Because he is just so different from other big baddies
Definitely agreed!!!!
3:15 "Fine little blade. Maybe I'll pick my teeth with it!"
I know this sounds crazy but..... I'm in love with Ghirahim he is good looking, especially with his cape so
I'M IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is just so handsome and scary at the same time.
he looks like a girl!
Same. Somethin about him
+Destiny Zabriskie Gotta admit, feel the same xD
same
so would you like it if he did this?
2:25
I fucking LOVE this boss, he has such an arrogant, yet creepy persona that just adds a lot to his character. Looking forward to seeing more of him as I'm only just past temple 4.
When are transvestites NOT creepy!
I personally think that Ghirahim is not necessarily arrogant, he is really strong and powerful and he knows it better than anyone, he had the opportunity to slaughter link when he showed up to him and yet didn't and prefered to engage a direct and long battle with him, well he had also his reasons to do so. He is but rather sadistic and antipatic in the character's depth
Also yes you are completely right Ghirahim is absolutely amazing and badass
@@rendor21 no creepier than someone being obsessed with other peoples genitals 🥴
ghirahim is the Zelda equivalent to orochimaru from naruto.
True
please don't compare an amazing character to a shitty naruto person.
I'm serious their personalities are practically the same...
+Nina Pines Compared to the rest of the cast of Naruto, he's one of the far better characters. Not only is he the only one who wasn't is an emo villain with eye powers, but the mysterious side of Orochimaru works really well for him. And you can't help but deny the similarities between him and Ghirahim.
Angry Legatus Ghirahim is way more fabulous.
Ahhhh.... So *that's* who inspired Miley Cyrus....
He's fabulous though
+MegaBubbleGamer More like this is what Miley Cyrus inspired
+yoshi zilla lol yeah xD
😀
MegaBubbleGamer lol 😂😄😧
He keeps grabbing my sword, I can't.... do it
Don't target him when you swing at him. You should land a few hits that way.
Wow that's sounds wrong without context lol 😂
Ghirahim was so badass in Skyward Sword and he is my favorite Zeldavillain :)
guess being a master sword himself bring narcissism
what.
Meg Dmstie he's talking about something important to the end of the game. If you're okay with me spoiling it I can explain.
Cuz at the end of game
It turns out that this guy is actually Sword that Demise use
2:06 when i find out my math homework has a back side
Best LoZ villain ever
What about Wind Waker Ganondorf?
@@Kakaragi
No, I think Ghirahim is creepier and more dangerous.
@@warrioroflight6872 A great villain/antagonist doesn't need to be creepy
@@Kakaragi
True, true. But I still prefer Ghirahim.
I think he might be better Zant that looks like cool guy and then gets crazy
Very creepy when Ghirahim sticks tongue out. °-°
the sound effects in this game are probably the best out of every zelda game, the hits feel so satisfying
For real it makes the hits feel powerful and satisfying
The only thing I didn't like about the zelda games was the absence of enemy health bars. Sometimes when I was in the middle of a boss fight I would get sort of confused. Basically I wasn't sure if I was doing fight correctly. Anyone who played these games would know that the boss fights have several parts.
I think Nintendo should add health bars to Bosses to future Zelda games, too.
I died 4 times... Cuz i didnt have a shield...
+GameTimeNL He broke my shield.
same
srsly just buy a new one xd that is what I did
Gu!do Y’all don’t even need shields to beat him.
@@Blueteam-to2mz?
still have his theme song stuck in my head 12 years later
Ghirahim is by far my favorite villain. He’s so polite. He’s fun to beat and he’s from the best game I ever played!
Best game ever played?? Guess you have not played many videogames then
@@Reb3nga I’ve played many. Skyward Sword has the most story. It explains EVERYTHING! That’s why it’s so good!
What does it explain? I mean, I am currently re-playing it on the Switch and the games does have it's moments...but it is nowhere near BotW
@@Reb3nga it explains how the Triforce came to be. It explains how Hylia started. It explains how Hyrule started. It explains how Link started. It explains how the master sword came to be. It explains how the hero came to be. It explains why Ganon always comes back. It explains why Zelda is so powerful. It explains the legend. And more.
@@shnagashnaga3831 Taking notes and will get back at this as soon as I completed the game 😁
At first I thought Ghirahim was a ridiculous, silly villain - but he is downright scary. The fact that he's completely psychotic makes his presence all the more chilling. Unlike Ganondorf or Zant, who just want power, Ghirahim wants to screw with your head. He's sick, twisted, and unhinged, all traits of a good villain imo
I remember this I was like how u just gon take my sword
I was like "Bitch, you think ya slick, grabbing my shit like some sorta pedi, bitch, ima gonna slap that smug look offa yo face!"
Did you know? That if you are terrible at shield-bashing, you can hit Ghirahim with you sword as he charges at you.
I'm in 2017 watching a 2011 video. That's nice.
Well hey! Don't worry I'm in 2019
2020!!!
The most musical boss battle I've ever seen.
Honestly the moment he took my sword I’d be tempted to deck him.
Knowing he’s a sword spirit himself I’d probably bloody up my hands before I make him feel anything xp
Ok who else figured out how badass this game is when a) it took you 10min to figure out how to put the key in. b) you lost more than once on the first boss battle. c) as soon as you popped the game into your wii. or d) all of the above.
Man I remember the times when I learned he could steal my sword, and when I tried to slowly move my sword to keep him guessing to attack at an opening, he *straight up slapped me* and I died
I know this boss is easy if you know what your doing, but when I first play this he owned my ass for a good long time before I beat him >_
+Iziah Bush I think that's probably most people's first time, unless they are some kind of gaming prodigy.
Same. It took a bit to learn the trick.
For a Zelda game it's kinda tough, but it's not too hard after getting the hang of swinging right.
@TheKevMcC
Theyre both equally as good..Ganon for the evil powerful character and Ghirahim for the crazy, heartless tool character
Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask is the game with lots of scary stuff.
Laura Gonzalez OOT dead hand shadow temple bottom of well. SS guardians/silent realm
@@thewildlink oh god, dead hand is terrifying
This was a very hard boss for a "First fight".
i think Ghirahim's 2nd battle music was atleast in the top 5 songs in the game, the castinets were really awesome
I don't miss Navi, she's annoying ("Hey! Hey! Hey, listen!" OMG SHUT UP!!!)
Midna however... OMG I MISS HER TOO QwQ
Navi was great.
navi was very cute
Navi isn't annoying... That DAMN OWL IS.
how tough are his god damn gloves I would expect it to hurt at least a little but no Ghirahim is to good for that
Before the second fight with him you meet him again and he reveals his arms are made of the toughest armor…And his final form shows he can only be hurt by stabbing him dead center into his gem like stomach…So Ghirahim right here is basically a shell…And throughout the game he starts losing it slowly if you notice the cracks in his body as he changes everytime you meet him…eventually he comes out of his shell and reveals his true form
OK SO AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINK THAT CUTSENCE WAS A BIT YAOI?!
Lana Hwang nope I also thought it was yaoi.
Far from it.
Probably
To be honest yes, the face link put on as well and ghirahim kept groaning so.... this cut scene came when my dad was in the living room and he looked at me weirdly, I was smiling awkwardly....
Got to hate it when the villians use teleport lol ;D
I just laughed when he stole Fi XD
If this is the first boss fight I may be done with this game and keep playing breath of the wild
Man lord Ghirahim is such a poet
Oh hey a fellow JoJo fan on a Zelda video
Oh lord I think I found my new OTP
+Succubi Pie Dat tongue action seals the deal.
The music! I need this soon, who's waiting on switch? 🙌🏽✨💜
I love this game and I understand the concept that Girahim is supposed to shock the player into reading their opponents moves more closely, because up until this point you're largely able to waggle your way out of most of the low level enemies. But man... they could have telegraphed what you were supposed to do a little better and not made it such a long ass fight. It doesn't help that the wiimote is genuinely a terrible input method and spazzes out like 25% of the time.
I agree, I'm playing this for the first time and this is the point I give up
I think Ghirahim wants Link's "Master Sword" xD
You know that trick to this is to Just Dance, but if that doesn't work then I guess you better put on your Poker Face and just Applause, if all else fails, just toss it away like a Bad Romance
So he looks like Lady Gaga?
Rai
I just noticed that when you hit him it sounds like hitting metal. Which makes since when you think about it
This guy reminds me of Miley Cyrus. Anyone else?
It's too easy to imagine Ghirahim dramatically dancing to Breaking Ball
When he stole my sword the first time I played this game my mind was blown
Man You Have No Idea How Mich I Raged On This Boss Lol
The first thing I noticed when fighting him for the first time was the fit, he eerily reminds me of hisoka from hxh
Dang it... I just got this game. I'm up against him? He looks hard... is he?
Thanks! I just finished him. He was actually easy...
Yeah np
Aaliyah Johnson
Also, when he creates those lines of flying daggers, you can slash them back at him.
Oh cool
+Aaliyah Johnson He's hard when you don't know what you're doing, and I'd say the first stage where he tries to grab your sword is probably the trickiest part.
I know a lot people complain about the Ghirahim fight and how it was annoying to fight him multiple times, but I personally really enjoyed them. It felt like a real duel and each time the game challenged everything you’ve learned up to that point. I really felt accomplished the next time I faced him, it felt like I improved and had become a more skillful swordsman compared to our last encounter.
2:17
I know that feeling ALL too well 😒
Ghirahim: Now it's time for some witty back and forth banter. You go first!
Link: AAAAAAAAA
Ghirahim: Look, I'm not really sure where to go with that!
Wait he takes your sword?!
I also apreaciate it that it took you a long time to beat the 1st quarter but it took you took 2 minutes to beat the 2nd quarter.
2:31 and I start bursting out with laughter and mind goes instantly to the gutter. Run, Link, run. XD XD oh my lol
Knowing that he is voiced by the Japanese voice actor for freeza just makes it more Incredible
Haven't seen credits for Anri Katsu being the voice of Frieza. But one can argue they sound (similar)
I tell ya, Ghirahim has that Yiga Clan-esque vibe to him. Since becoming a huge fan of Breath of the Wild, I wonder if there’s any connection between he and the Yiga clan in Zelda lore ? Been thinking of that, lately.
The motion controls in this game are so bad. Even on the pro controller, half the time the sword doesn't even swing in the direction you are pointing the joystick. It's not even enjoyable to play when the controls are the most annoying part highlighted especially by this fight. You should be able to spam him after the red cards and Link doesn't even swing sometimes.
i had no problem with the motion controls,
you likely have a shit controller,
the ones that came with the 20th anniversary edition worked great
Oh god... I haven't been here in ages... Skyward Sword... Nice controls btw
2:37 my biggest wtf moment
Thank you for this video. I was having such a hard time with this boss even though I have the book to follow and cheat with. But I needed to see it
The first time I played this boss I was at my cousins house and we were just casually hanging out while I played and we were in the middle of a conversation when i realized how freaking hard Ghirahim is to fight (and im pretty good with motion controls) I was freaking out and swinging my controller like a mad man screaming in elvish (from LOTR cuse I'm such a freaking nerd) and standing like thre e feet from the screan (maximum focous you guys) and I died once then sat down for five minutes then went back in and started fighting him again this time screaming in old hylian (wich is honestly not as intense as it sounds) and again freaking out on the controls I died again and sat for about ten minutes untill i calmed down then went back in and this time I wasn't screaming in any language I was just silently death glaring at the screen and moving like a ninja then i finally beat it and I was so freaking happy I got myself a cupcake as a reward. 😂
Bro a Zelda boss is the least of your concerns with spelling like THAT
2:05 ghirahim:Do you have any idea how that made me feel inside? link: am guessing mad.
So what you're saying is a shield is helpful here, ugh no wonder I am close to throwing my Switch out the window 😅
Fr my shield is broken and I don’t feel like leaving the temple
I love how they animated his finger movements.
He's so... y'know. Fruity.
when I play and I'm at a cutscene with him, I always think he has this gross pervert lisp thing
I remember I was at this boss a month ago and now I'm AT&T
Ghirahim reminds me so much of Dragon Ball Super's Zamasu.
Manny Hernandez
A) Techinally, other way around.
B) There's huge differences.
I only meant in physical attributes.
Manny Hernandez If anything Zamasu is a direct copy from Ghirahim.
The hair.
WHAT!? I DIDN’T KNOW HE COULD TAKE YOUR SWORD!
subtle flex
Can't believe how hard this bit is, I just finished Twilight Princess but this is so f hard!
Hating the controller so bad!
He is way cooler than Ganondorf.
"But so long as you telegraph your attacks like the novice you are, you'll never land a blow."
Funny how he makes performs extremely drawn out attacks as he says this.
....That tongue though.....*shivers*
mmm im in love...one of my favorite villain designs he's just so cOOL AND THAT FUCKING TONGUE
Ghirahim could step on my throat and I'd thank him for it
In hindsight it makes sense that every time you hit him it makes a *clang* sound like metal hitting metal
oh HELL no.. just beat him in remastered. was hard at first but once he told me i was predictable it kinda clicked and i figured it out. this is definitely my new fav zelda game because of the bosses and soundtrack alone.
