Holy c*** that's a lot of stuff To pack around to enjoy the outdoors I'm 63 years old Spent a lot of time in the woods With my tent rifle my 4 by 4 pick up Believe me none of it was ever uncomfortable The only thing I've upgraded in all these years is a 12 V fridge Anyway I enjoy your channel keep up the good work
A cup holder on both sides! Water AND coffee! Woo hoo! My (adult) son and I really enjoy your channel. You have gadgets galore but it's your personality that drew us in...👍😎🇨🇦⭐
That Dash Bar for mounting cameras, cell phones, garmin and other stuff is brilliant. Is there a video on that install? Would love to see how it is mounted.
This is goals. Hands down one of the best (if not the best) van builds around, so thought through and planned out, yet almost artfully simple. Amazing man!
ha.....ball head on a piece of wood makes another appearance...featured one at that lol...didn't know it included a magnet. I've got 4 Claymore lights...love them.
Some great ideas there Jason! Really utilised the space well and like you say it’s always evolving. You’ve come a long way from sleeping in the tent on the back of the pick up 👍
Wow! That is an impressive list of modifications/personalizations. And, there is more to come. Only found your channel a few months ago when watching a "Softroadingthewest" episode. Plan to watch you a lot now. Keep up the good work. Another "Don" from Eugene, Oregon.
You are a legend man. Your videos are so enjoyable to watch, and the information you share to help others seek to do the same thing is invaluable. Your setup is intelligently designed, obviously, and your comments on how it allows you to make adjustments in side the van as you see fit, is well thought out. That Van is obviously very important to you, and it shows by how manage the build. It would be cool to see how Megan is built too…although, you may have done that already…you are a cool cat…maybe someday I might get a chance to go an excursion with you. +1 Patreon…
Thanks Jason, I really enjoyed your review of the interior and exterior overland van customizations and upgrades. You have a lot of innovative and highly functional, common-sense designs and systems that are an inspiration for us all.
Works for me! 😎👍 If/and when you get around to another build you'll know exactly what you need. What I'm looking to do is have a dashcam and one on the back exterior. I really like the heating unit you have with the thermostat, good choice.
Very cool internal setup. A bedroom, kitchen, & office in 1 big van. Nice electrical setup. Cant w8 2 watch yur adventure. Thx 4 sharing yur van on Utube.
LOL!!! Love the coffee/water set up! Stupid, I know, but I do the same kind of stuff. Hey….coffee is important. And I have glasses everywhere. X1.5 and X3 for detailed stuff, map reading.
Great video as usual. That Redarc system is awesome. I believe I would set it up to monitor the level of the bourbon bottle as well. Wouldn’t want to run out of that in the backcountry. 😉
You’ve done an excellent job designing and building your van. I am totally impressed with the Red Arc system, and would like to install it in our new Casita travel trailer. I’m also very interested in your house battery & electric system for the Casita. Thanks for all the great episodes, and for all the super information. Rock On
Hi Jason 👋 first I must say that I really enjoy your channel I follow alot of vanlifers, however honestly yours is definitely one of my favorite channels that I watch. The content feels so authentic far from being scripted, also your passion for overlanding, and how passionate you are with your van! I really love your rig you can see all the effort you put into its just an EPIC van... enough said be safe & ✌ Peace & Love bro...
Man you have done so much more to Squach!!!!! Great job, love your setup. For sure do the rear locker, sooner rather than later. If i built that van, the only thing i would change is the Line-X color. I'd do OD green. Blends in better up here in N. ID!!!! Again, great job, fantastic videos and last but not least, scratch Daisy for me!!!! Till the next vid!!!
Definitely liking the Redarc power management system you have installed. I belong to a few off-roading fb pages and constantly see posts asking about basically jerry-rigging solar/battery power systems. When I do get into my solar/battery power system, I will definitely go with a single brand system that is designed for my application by an experienced, reputable business. I have no desire to end up burning my rig and everything in it to ashes because I decided to be a miser and engineer & install it myself.
I think your set up is great and look forward to seeing your upgrades. However I do sometimes miss the Drifter Days. You shot some good content from that trailer. Do you still have it? If you need it to go to a good home I can come and get it! Keep up the good work and be safe!
Hey Jason with all this backwards backcountry exploration you do, have you invested in one of those GPS communicators? They let you send text messages and give location to people just in case. They also of course have a panic button that will call the authorities via satellite in case you get hurt or stuck or whatever
Do you think it possible to eliminate the bed area? This is what I’m thinking; what if space were created within the box that the bed sits on? And a space like a drawer was inserted and when extended out there’s a bed platform, with a completely made up and ready bed. It disappears when not in use. It would take up space but be completely out of the way. Now what can you do with all that room? The entire bed area is now useable? I just don’t like looking in a van and seeing a giant bed area. What do you think?
I have a question , I have a bad back , and need to stand up often , do you think if someone had sides ( that could go up or down) to thier awning , to keep rain and wind out , that it would work ( be somewhat comfortable ) with your style rig ( set up ) I can't sit for more than a couple hours , I have to get up and stand ( stretch ) but I can only afford a van , to start ,not something bigger , and I've always wanted to do a van conversion ( old school terminology ) I only need to stand or stech of a couple of seconds , maybe , 20 to 30.
I'm definitely a non-typical subscriber 😆 loved the wee man flashback. ❤ Channel could use a little more catch n cook fishing with an occasional wild edible tossed in. I would love to see a breakdown on the tools-spare parts-fluids you carry and the thought put into like items. (Tire repair, do you bother with backs ups to what items/systems, what is not worth carrying?)
Hey man can you tell me what size rims you're running on your van and what size tires you're running on your van cuz I have F350 and I want to put bigger tires on mine. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥃🥃
Hey Jason. With all the talk around high gas prices, have you thought about a diesel engine conversion ? Not living in the United States myself I'm not sure if it would stack up with the conversion cost versus gasoline prices etc. But would it be something you would consider in the future ? Great video as always 👍
That power distribution system integration is amazing and your whole van is very well executed and thought out .
The location of the coffee, lol, brilliant👌🏻 Keep up the excellent work, buddy!

Man I love your van and this setup! Thanks for taking the time to explain all this. Take care!
I like the dash bar for the RAM mounts. Very handy. 👍🏼
you can tell you actually live and use this van/ set up, its what works for you and its great!
Really awesome customization.
I really like the idea of magnetic mounts for both lights and your VO mic.
Man, This thing is so bad ass... You should be very proud of it.
By and far my favorite overland build to date. Thank you for sharing.

Hey I found another tour... I'm on a roll today. Good info!
LOL!!! Love the coffee/water set up! Stupid, I know, but I do the same kind of stuff. Hey….coffee is important. And I have glasses everywhere. X1.5 and X3 for detailed stuff, map reading.
This is my dream van.
Very slick and comfortable. Love it.
Stephanie M 😎
Great video Jason! Thanks for the tour! 👍🏻🍻🇺🇸
Such a cool rig I love it very unique!
Great video as usual. That Redarc system is awesome. I believe I would set it up to monitor the level of the bourbon bottle as well. Wouldn’t want to run out of that in the backcountry. 😉
Excellent video
I've got to look for your conduit dash rail video - I like that idea....

Well done build Jason! Enjoy all you videos but really liked seeing the evolution of Sasquatch! Thank you for what you do!
Absolutely fine van build...tailored to your needs and likes...looking forward to the evolution...keep on trucking!
Awesome van

Great job on the van , I am building one now , thanks for the video. Lots of ideas.
Jason! Do you have an engineering background? Your setup is very well thought out sir! Thank you for sharing brother! 😎
really well thought out set up!
Great set up.

Cool van Jason
GREAT STUFF!!!
Great video 👍✌️
I'm curious about your camera and drone gear, and the process to put these videos together
Very nice!
Nice video
Think I saw you in Bend earlier today
I think your set up is great and look forward to seeing your upgrades. However I do sometimes miss the Drifter Days. You shot some good content from that trailer. Do you still have it? If you need it to go to a good home I can come and get it! Keep up the good work and be safe!

He has a Garmin InReach, that orange device on his dash, it does exactly what you described.
Dang. I’ve always assumed you had a 7.3 van.

Hey Jason!
Very cozy inside but missing an important part, where do you 💩
Luv it...
Bravo 🚙👍
Link for the magnetic tripod mount?
Amazing setup. Great job. Very thorough. What do you do for a toilet? Steve.
Same as bears,,,,,

Great tours! Your water pump used to be on the noisy side but now it's quiet. What did you do?

What's that desk mount? Looks neat
Very cool! That propex, how is it on fuel? Looking to get rid of my Chinese diesel heater.... haha
Yay!

Without having all the internets content.
I dont think you missed a thing!!
I have a question? I noticed that you have the BCDC and you also have the Manager 30 . Are they both connected or is it just a spare?
what ipad are you using?
👍
👍👍👍👍👍
Are you still drinking Pendleton‘s whiskey?
Please add more words between all your words about things like stuff in your van
Nice vehicle to have when the world takes a shit.
Let’s buy Jason a yeti for his coffee.
